475 জন শ্রমিককে গ্রেফতার করল ট্রাম প্রশাসন

আমেরিকার ন্যাশনাল পাবলিক রেডিওর রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব জর্জিয়ার হুন্ডাইয়ের কারখানায় হানা দিয়ে দীর্ঘ তল্লাশি অভিযানের পর 475 জন শ্রমিককে গ্রেফতার করেছে আমেরিকার একটি তদন্তকারী দল। জানা যাচ্ছে, আটক হওয়া শ্রমিকদের মধ্যে অধিকাংশই আমেরিকার বন্ধু দেশ দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার বাসিন্দা।

বেশ কয়েকটি রিপোর্ট দাবি করছে, ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্পের নির্দেশেই হুন্ডাইয়ের ওই কারখানায় হানা দেয় তদন্তকারী দলটি। সূত্র বলছে, ইতিমধ্যেই দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার সাথে কথা বলেছে আমেরিকার সরকার। জানা যাচ্ছে, ট্রাম্পের কঠোর অভিবাসী নীতির অধীনেই ওই আটক করা শ্রমিকদের দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ায় ফেরত পাঠানো হবে।

প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীদের একাংশের বক্তব্য, বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে জর্জিয়ার এলাবেল এলাকার ওই কারখানায় পৌঁছন অন্তত 500 জন মার্কিন অফিসার। জানা গিয়েছে, তাঁরা সকাল থেকে রাত 8টা পর্যন্ত ওই কারখানাতেই ছিলেন। রিপোর্ট বলছে, এই দীর্ঘ সময়ের মধ্যে ট্রাম্প প্রশাসনের অফিসাররা শ্রমিকদের পরিচয় পত্র খতিয়ে দেখছিলেন। এরপরই দীর্ঘক্ষণ যাচাই-বাছাইয়ের পর 475 জন অভিবাসীকে চিহ্নিত করে গ্রেফতার করেন তারা।
