সহেলি মিত্র, কলকাতাঃ আপনারও কি পোস্ট অফিসে (India Post) অ্যাকাউন্ট আছে? তাহলে আপনার জন্য রইল দারুণ এক সুখবর। এবার ভারতীয় ডাক বিভাগের তরফে এমন এক নতুন পরিষেবা শুরু করা হল যার দরুণ উপকৃত হবেন সাধারণ মানুষ। কেন্দ্রীয় যোগাযোগ মন্ত্রী জ্যোতিরাদিত্য সিন্ধিয়া আজ শুক্রবার ঘোষণা করেছেন যে ইন্ডিয়া পোস্ট ২০২৬ সালের জানুয়ারি থেকে একটি গ্যারান্টিযুক্ত ডাক ও পার্সেল ডেলিভারি পরিষেবা চালু করে তার পরিষেবাগুলিতে বিপ্লব আনবে। মিলবে ২৪ থেকে ৪৮ ঘণ্টার মধ্যে নিশ্চিত ডেলিভারি।

নতুন পরিষেবা আনছে ডাক বিভাগ

এই নতুন উদ্যোগের আওতায়, গ্রাহকদের ২৪ থেকে ৪৮ ঘন্টার মধ্যে একটি গ্যারান্টিযুক্ত ডেলিভারি সময়সীমা নিশ্চিত করা হবে। এর অর্থ হল আপনার পণ্যগুলি এখন ২৪ থেকে ৪৮ ঘন্টার মধ্যে ডেলিভারি নিশ্চিত করা হবে। এই পরিষেবা চালু হওয়ার ফলে বেসরকারি কুরিয়ার এবং পার্সেল পরিষেবা প্রদানকারীদের মধ্যে তীব্র প্রতিযোগিতা তৈরি হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।

এই প্রসঙ্গে কেন্দ্রীয় যোগাযোগমন্ত্রী বলেন যে এই নতুন পরিষেবাগুলি বিদ্যমান স্পিড পোস্ট নেটওয়ার্ককে আপগ্রেড করবে। এর আওতায়, ২৪ ঘন্টার মধ্যে ডাক সরবরাহ নিশ্চিত করা হবে গ্রাহকদের। এই পরিষেবার মাধ্যমে ডেলিভারি ৪৮ ঘন্টার মধ্যে সম্পন্ন করা হবে। সিন্ধিয়া আরও একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ উদ্যোগের ঘোষণা করেছেন। তিনি বলেছেন, “Next Day Delivery” পরিষেবা চালু করা হবে। এই পরিষেবাটি পার্সেল ডেলিভারির সময়কে নাটকীয়ভাবে হ্রাস করবে। বর্তমান ৩ থেকে ৫ দিনের পরিবর্তে, পরের দিনই পার্সেল সরবরাহ করা হবে।

যোগাযোগ মন্ত্রী ইন্ডিয়া পোস্টের আর্থিক ভবিষ্যৎ নিয়েও কথা বলেন। তিনি বলেন যে সরকারের মূল লক্ষ্য হল ২০২৯ সালের মধ্যে ইন্ডিয়া পোস্টকে একটি নিছক খরচ কেন্দ্র থেকে লাভের কেন্দ্রে রূপান্তর করা। এই উদ্যোগ ইন্ডিয়া পোস্টকে বেসরকারি কুরিয়ার কোম্পানিগুলির সাথে প্রতিযোগিতা করতে এবং গ্রাহকদের সময়মতো এবং নির্ভরযোগ্য ডেলিভারি নিশ্চিত করে এর দক্ষতা এবং রাজস্ব বৃদ্ধি করতে অনেকটাই সাহায্য করবে।
