বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: ঋণ সাগরে ডুব দিয়ে দারিদ্রতার নতুন রেকর্ড গড়েছে পাকিস্তান। সরকারি হিসেব অনুযায়ী, চলতি বছরের জুন মাস নাগাদ, পাকিস্তানের মোট সরকারি ঋণ 286.832 বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার ( 80.6 ট্রিলিয়ন পাকিস্তানি রুপি) বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে। যা গত বছরের তুলনায় অন্তত 13 শতাংশ বেশি (Pakistan Economic Crisis)। মূলত শেহবাজ শরীফ জামানায় গত দিনগুলির তুলনায় পাকিস্তানের ঋণের পরিমাণ লাফিয়ে লাফিয়ে বেড়েছে।

টাইমস অফ ইন্ডিয়ার রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, পাকিস্তানের অর্থ মন্ত্রকের তরফে পাওয়া তথ্য বলছে, চলতি বছরের জুন মাসের শেষের দিকে পাকিস্তানি রুপিতে দেশটির মোট সরকারি ঋণ গিয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছিল 80.6 ট্রিলিয়ন রুপিতে। এর মধ্যে অবশ্য 54.5 ট্রিলিয়ন রুপি অভ্যন্তরীণ ঋণ এবং 26 ট্রিলিয়ন রুপি বৈদেশিক ঋণ বলেই খবর। রিপোর্ট বলছে, গত জুন মাসে পাকিস্তানে ঋণ জিডিপি অনুপাতও বেড়ে 70 শতাংশে পৌঁছেছে।

বিগত বছরগুলিতে বিভিন্ন উন্নত দেশ, আন্তর্জাতিক অর্থভাণ্ডার সহ বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্র থেকে ভুঁড়ি ভুঁড়ি ঋণ নিয়েছে পাকিস্তান। যার কারণে ক্রমশ দুর্বল হয়েছে পশ্চিমের দেশের অর্থনীতি। রিপোর্ট বলছে, এবছর গত জুন মাসে পাকিস্তানের ঋণ জিডিপি অনুপাত গত বছরের তুলনায় 2 শতাংশ বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে। বিশেষজ্ঞরা বলছেন, পাকিস্তানজুড়ে মুদ্রাস্ফীতির ধীরগতির কারণে অর্থনৈতিক বৃদ্ধিও কমে গিয়েছে। ফলে আর্থিক একীকরণ সত্ত্বেও ঋণ জিডিপি অনুপাত বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। সব মিলিয়ে, বিপুল ঋণের বোঝা নিয়ে দারিদ্রতার নতুন কীর্তি করেছে ইসলামের দেশ।

কোন কারণে এত ঋণ বাড়ছে পাকিস্তানের?

রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, পাকিস্তানের দেশীয় ঋণ বেড়েছে 15 শতাংশ। যা গত তিন আর্থিক বছরের মধ্যে সর্বনিম্ন বার্ষিক বৃদ্ধি। যদিও চলতি বছরের গত জুন মাসে 6 শতাংশ বৈদেশিক ঋণ বেড়েছে পাকিস্তানের। যা এই মুহূর্ত 91.8 বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলারে গিয়ে ঠেকেছে। কিন্তু কেন এত ঋণ বাড়ছে পাকিস্তানে?
