কোপরা উৎপাদনে ভারতের অবদান অনেক

নারকেলের কোপরা বা শাঁস নিয়ে কেন্দ্রের তরফে জানানো হয়েছে যে চাষিদের সহায়তার জন্য কোপরার MSP বা ন্যূনতম সমর্থন মূল্য বাড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। গতকাল অর্থাৎ শুক্রবার, কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রিসভার বৈঠকের পরে বিজ্ঞপ্তি দিয়ে জানানো হয় যে ভারত সারা বিশ্বের কোপরা উৎপাদনে ৩০ শতাংশ অবদান রাখে। সেক্ষেত্রে সেরা কোপরা উৎপাদক রাজ্যগুলি হল তামিলনাড়ু, কেরল, কর্ণাটক ও অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশ। তাই সেই গুরুত্ব বজায় রেখে কৃষকদের সুবিধার্থে ২০২৬ সালের জন্য মিলিং কোপরার ন্যূনতম সহায়ক মূল্য রাখা হয়েছে কুইন্টল প্রতি ১২,০২৭ টন। অন্যদিকে, বল কোপরার MSP রাখা হয়েছে ১২,৫০০ টাকা। আশা করা যাচ্ছে এই MSP বাড়ার ফলে চাষিরা বেশি লাভের সুবিধা পাবেন।

কত বাড়ল MSP?

সরকারের তরফে বাজারে নারকেল শাঁস এর MSP বাড়ানো নিয়ে জানানো হয়েছে যে, মিলিং কোপরা, অর্থাৎ যে কোপরা দিয়ে তেল উৎপাদন করা হয়, তা মূলত, বাদাম ও সুস্বাদু খাবার তৈরিতে ব্যবহার করা হয়। তাই স্বাভাবিকভাবেই এই কোপরার গুরুত্ব অনেক। এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দ্রব্যের ক্ষেত্রে MSP ৫০ শতাংশের বেশি বাড়ানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নিল কেন্দ্র। জানা গিয়েছে নয়া সিদ্ধান্তের ফলে একাধিক সুবিধা পাবেন কৃষকেরা। এর ফলে দেশীয় এবং বিশ্বব্যাপী নারকেলজাত জিনিসের চাহিদা পূরণের জন্য কৃষকেরাও উৎসাহিত হবেন এবং তাঁদের উৎপাদন বৃদ্ধি পাবে।
