তেল সঙ্কটের জের! পাকিস্তান দিবসে সামরিক কুচকাওয়াজ করবে না শেহবাজ সরকার

বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: পশ্চিম এশিয়ায় অশান্তি ক্রমশ বেড়েই চলেছে। এর জেরে জ্বালানি সংকটে ভুগছে বিশ্বের বহু দেশ। সেই তালিকায় একেবারে প্রথম দিকে নাম রয়েছে পাকিস্তানের (Pakistan)। ইরান যুদ্ধের কারণে রান্নার গ্যাস, তেলের সংকট দেখা দিয়েছে সে দেশে। ঠিক সেই পরিস্থিতিতে 23 মার্চ, পাকিস্তান দিবসের দিন সামরিক কুচকাওয়াজ (Pakistan Day Military Parade) কর্মসূচি বন্ধ রাখার সিদ্ধান্ত নিল শেহবাজ শরীফের সরকার। সেই মর্মেই বিবৃতি জারি করেছে ইসলামাবাদ।

বিবৃতি জারি করে কী জানাল পাকিস্তান সরকার?

প্রত্যেক বছর 23 মার্চ মুসলিম লিগের মুসলিমদের জন্য আলাদা দেশ গঠনের প্রস্তাবকে স্মরণ করে দিনটিকে পাকিস্তান দিবস হিসেবে পালন করা হয় পশ্চিমের দেশে। এই দিনই আয়োজন করা হয় সামরিক কুচকাওয়াজের। তবে এবছর সেই পরিস্থিতি নেই পাকিস্তানে। মঙ্গলবার বিবৃতি জারি করে পাকিস্তানের প্রধানমন্ত্রীর দপ্তরের তরফে স্পষ্ট জানিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে, পশ্চিম এশিয়ায় যুদ্ধের পরিস্থিতিতে খরচ কমানোর পথে হাঁটছে দেশ। তাই দেশের বিভিন্ন জায়গায় পতাকা উত্তোলন কর্মসূচি চললেও সামরিক কুচকাওয়াজ আপাতত বন্ধ রাখা হচ্ছে।

বলাই বাহুল্য, পশ্চিম এশিয়ায় সংঘাত তীব্রতর হলে হরমুজ প্রণালী বন্ধ করে দেয় ইরান। পরবর্তীতে তেহরানের তরফে জানানো হয় ইরানের অনুমতি ছাড়া এই প্রণালী দিয়ে যাতায়াতের চেষ্টা করলে জাহাজে আগুন ধরিয়ে দেওয়া হবে। আর এমন ঘটনার পরই হরমুজে আটকে যায় একের পর এক জাহাজ। সেই তালিকায় ছিল পাকিস্তানের জাহাজও। এর ফলে সে দেশে দেখা যায় জ্বালানির তীব্র সংকট। সে কারণেই কঠিন সময় জ্বালানি বাঁচাতে সামরিক কুচকাওয়াজ না করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে পাক সরকার।

উল্লেখ্য, তেল আমদানির জন্য পুরোপুরি পশ্চিম এশিয়ার উপর নির্ভরশীল পাকিস্তান। এখানকার দেশগুলি থেকেই তেল আমদানি করে থাকে ইসলামাবাদ। গত 15 মার্চ ইরানের অনুমতি পাওয়ার পরেই পাকিস্তানের একটি তেলবাহী জাহাজ হরমুজ পেরিয়ে এসেছে। বুধবারের মধ্যে ওই জাহাজটি করাচিতে পৌঁছে যাওয়ার কথা।
