বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: বাংলাদেশি হিন্দু পরিবারগুলিকে জমি দেবে উত্তরপ্রদেশের যোগী সরকার! বাংলাদেশ থেকে বাস্তুচ্যুত হয়ে উত্তরপ্রদেশে পুনর্বাসিত হওয়া অন্তত 10 হাজার বাংলাদেশি হিন্দু পরিবারকে বৈধ জমির মালিকানা দেওয়ার উদ্যোগ নিলেন উত্তরপ্রদেশের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যোগী আদিত্যনাথ! সর্বভারতীয় সংবাদমাধ্যমের রিপোর্টে এমনটাই দাবি করা হয়েছে।

কারা জমির মালিকানা পাবেন?

রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, 1960 থেকে 1975 সালের মধ্যে পূর্ব পাকিস্তান অর্থাৎ বর্তমান বাংলাদেশ থেকে ঘর ছাড়া হয়ে উত্তরপ্রদেশে পুনর্বাসিত হওয়া প্রায় 10 হাজার বাংলাদেশি হিন্দু পরিবারকে বৈধ জমির মালিকানা দেয়া হবে বলেই ঘোষণা দিয়েছেন উত্তরপ্রদেশের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যোগী আদিত্যনাথ!

হঠাৎ কেন এমন পদক্ষেপ?

জানা যাচ্ছে, আসলে যেসব বাংলাদেশি পরিবারগুলি ওপার বাংলায় দীর্ঘ নিপীড়ন ও সহিংসতা সহ্য করে বাংলাদেশ থেকে কোনও মতে পালিয়ে এসে উত্তরপ্রদেশে বসবাস শুরু করেছেন। সেই সব শরণার্থীদের প্রতি মানবিক হয়েই এবার বড় উদ্যোগ নিতে চলল যোগী আদিত্যনাথ সরকার।

জানা যাচ্ছে, বাংলাদেশ থেকে পালিয়ে উত্তর প্রদেশের পিলভিট, লক্ষীপুর খেরি, বিজনৌর ও রামপুরের মতো একাধিক জেলায় পুনর্বাসিত হওয়া বাংলাদেশি হিন্দু পরিবারগুলিকে কৃষি জমি এবং আবাসযোগ্য জমির মালিকানা দেওয়া হবে বলেও খবর। বলা বাহুল্য, জমি বরাদ্দ করার আগে যোগ্য পরিবারগুলিকে চিহ্নিত করে তাদের রেকর্ড যাচাই করবে যোগী সরকার।

প্রসঙ্গত, বহু আগেই শরণার্থীদের জন্য কৃষি জমি বরাদ্দ করেছিল উত্তরপ্রদেশ সরকার। তবে দীর্ঘদিন ধরে চলা আইনি ও প্রশাসনিক জটিলতার কারণে জমির আইনত মালিকানা পাচ্ছিলেন না বহু শরণার্থী। তবে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যোগী আদিত্যনাথের নতুন ঘোষণার পর এবার সেই সমস্যা মিটতে চলেছে বলেই মনে করছেন অনেকেই।
