দাম কমছে পেট্রোল, ডিজেলের? স্বাধীনতা দিবসেই বড় স্বস্তি দিল কেন্দ্র

বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: স্বাধীনতা দিবসেই এল বড় খবর! বাড়তে থাকা পেট্রোল (Petrol), ডিজেলের দাম নিয়ে এবার বিরাট সিদ্ধান্ত নিল কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার (Central Government)! রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, আজ অর্থাৎ 15 আগস্ট থেকে পেট্রোল, ডিজেল এবং বিমানের জ্বালানি বা ATF এর উপর থেকে রপ্তানির ক্ষেত্রে বিশেষ অতিরিক্ত আবগারি শুল্ক (উইন্ডফল ট্যাক্স) কমিয়ে দিল নরেন্দ্র মোদি সরকার। এর ফলে, এবার ভারতের কাছ থেকে পেট্রোল, ডিজেলের কেনার ক্ষেত্রে দামে কিছুটা হলেও স্বস্তি পাবে বাইরের ক্রেতারা! অর্থ মন্ত্রণালয়ের তরফে বিজ্ঞপ্তি দিয়ে জানিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে, আজ থেকেই এই সিদ্ধান্ত কার্যকর হয়ে যাচ্ছে।

অতিরিক্ত অবগারি শুল্ক এখন কত?

স্বাধীনতা দিবসের আবহে, পেট্রোল থেকে শুরু করে ডিজেল এবং বিমানের জ্বালানি রপ্তানির ক্ষেত্রে অতিরিক্ত অবগারি শুল্ক কমিয়ে আনা নিয়ে কেন্দ্রীয় অর্থমন্ত্রক যে বিজ্ঞপ্তি জারি করেছে সেই বিজ্ঞপ্তি অনুযায়ী, সরকার ডিজেলের রপ্তানির উপর শুল্ক কমানোর পর বর্তমানে অতিরিক্ত আবগারি শুল্কের হার প্রতি লিটারে 24 টাকা, যা আগে ছিল 25.50 টাকা। একইভাবে বিমানের জ্বালানির উপর থেকে এই বিশেষ শুল্ক 19 টাকা 50 পয়সায় নামিয়ে আনা হয়েছে। আগে যা ছিল 22 টাকা।

এই দুই জ্বালানির পাশাপাশি পেট্রোলের ক্ষেত্রেও বড় স্বস্তি দিয়েছে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার। নয়া দিল্লির সিদ্ধান্তের পরই পেট্রোলের রপ্তানির উপর থেকে অতিরিক্ত অবগারি শুল্ক কমিয়ে একেবারে শূন্যে নামিয়ে আনা হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ পেট্রোল রপ্তানি করার ক্ষেত্রে এই শুল্ক আর চাপানো হবে না। যেখানে গত 3 আগস্ট পেট্রোল রপ্তানির ক্ষেত্রে 3 টাকা 50 পয়সা শুল্ক আরোপ করার কথা জানিয়েছিল কেন্দ্র।

প্রসঙ্গত, কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার স্বাধীনতা দিবসে পেট্রোল, ডিজেল এবং বিমানের জ্বালানি রপ্তানির ক্ষেত্রে যে বিশেষ শুল্ক কমিয়ে আনার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে তাতে দেশের অভ্যন্তরে বা ভারতের সাধারণ নাগরিকদের পকেটে স্বস্তি মিলবে না। বরং যে সব দেশ ভারতের কাছ থেকে এই ধরনের জ্বালানি আমদানি করে থাকে, পকেট বাঁচবে তাদের। অর্থ মন্ত্রকের তরফে জারি করা বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে জানিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে, অভ্যন্তরীণ ব্যবহারের জন্য পেট্রোল এবং ডিজেলের উপর যে শুল্ক বসানো হয়েছে তাতে পরিবর্তন আসছে না।
