কমছে স্টপেজ, এই স্টেশনগুলো দাঁড়াবে না শিয়ালদা-রানাঘাট এসি লোকাল, বিজ্ঞপ্তি রেলের

অনন্যা সরকার, কলকাতা: শিয়ালদা- রানাঘাট এসি লোকাল (Sealdah-Ranaghat AC Local) নিয়ে পূর্ব রেল (Eastern Railways) নিল বড় সিদ্ধান্ত। এই লোকালটির স্টপেজ সংখ্যা এবার কমতে চলেছে। আগামী ১ অগাস্ট থেকে দুই স্টপেজ – কাঁকিনাড়া ও জগদ্দল স্টেশনে আর থামবে না ৩১৬৩৭/৩১৬৩৮ শিয়ালদা-রানাঘাট-শিয়ালদা এসি লোকাল, জানিয়ে দিল রেল কর্তৃপক্ষ (Indian Railways)। 

দুটি স্টপেজে আর থামবে না শিয়ালদা- রানাঘাট এসি লোকাল

পূর্ব রেল কর্তৃপক্ষ জানিয়েছে যে, যাত্রীদের সুবিধা ও চাহিদা পরখ করে দেখার জন্য শিয়ালদা- রানাঘাট এসি লোকাল ট্রেনটির জন্য সিমুরালি, হালিশহর, ইছাপুর, জগদ্দল এবং কাঁকিনাড়া -এই পাঁচটি স্টেশনে পরীক্ষামূলকভাবে স্টপেজ চালু করা হয়েছিল। কিন্তু দেখা গেছে কাঁকিনাড়া ও জগদ্দল স্টেশনে এসি ইএমইউ (AC EMU) ট্রেনের যাত্রী সংখ্যা খুবই কম। তাই ট্রেনের সময়সূচি বজায় রাখতে এবং নির্ধারিত সময়সূচি অনুসরণ করার স্বার্থে এই দুই স্টেশনে স্টপেজ তুলে নেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে। তবে পরবর্তী মূল্যায়ন না হওয়া পর্যন্ত বাকি তিনটি অর্থাৎ সিমুরালি, হালিশহর, ইছাপুর স্টেশনে আগের সময়সূচি মেনেই ট্রেনটি থামবে।

শিয়ালদা- রানাঘাট এসি লোকালের টাইম টেবিল

৩১৬৩৭ শিয়ালদা রানাঘাট এসি গ্যালোপিং লোকাল ট্রেনটি শিয়ালদা থেকে সন্ধে ৬:৫০ মিনিটে ছাড়ে এবং রানাঘাট পৌঁছায় ৮:৩২ মিনিটে। যাত্রার মাঝে লোকালটিকে জগদ্দল স্টেশনে ৭.৪১ মিনিটে ও কাঁকিনাড়াতে ৭.৪৫ মিনিটে পরীক্ষামূলকভাবে থামানো হতো। কিন্তু আগামী ১ অগাস্ট থেকে এই দুই স্টপেজ প্রত্যাহার করছে রেল। ফলে এই দুই স্টেশনে থেকে যে কয়েকজন এসি ট্রেনের পরিষেবা পেতেন, তারা আর শিয়ালদা- রানাঘাট এসি লোকালে চড়তে পারবেন না।

দুই স্টপেজ তুলে নেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত জানানোর পর পূর্ব রেল কর্তৃপক্ষ যাত্রীদের অনুরোধ করেছে যে, তারা যেন সফর করার আগে সংশোধিত টাইম টেবিলটি দেখে নেন। এতে কোনরকম বিভ্রান্তির সৃষ্টি হবে না। এছাড়া, কাঁকিনাড়া ও জগদ্দল স্টেশনে স্টপেজ তুলে নেওয়ার ফলে কিছু যাত্রীর যে সাময়িক অসুবিধা হবে, তার  জন্যও দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেছে শিয়ালদা ডিভিশনের তরফে।
