সাউথ বেঙ্গল স্টেট ট্রান্সপোর্ট কর্পোরেশন (SBSTC) কলকাতার বেলঘরিয়া ডিপো থেকে ভলভো ৯৪০০ বি৯আর ইউরো ৩ (Volvo 9400 B9R Euro 3) মাল্টি-এক্সেল কোচ বা বাস পরিষেবা পরিচালনা করে। এই বাস পরিষেবা দক্ষিণবঙ্গ ও উত্তরবঙ্গের মধ্যে সংযোগস্থাপন করে। এই বাসটি যাবে ভায়া ধর্মতলা বাসস্ট্যান্ড – শিয়ালদা – উল্টোডাঙা – বাগুইআটি – বিমানবন্দর – বিরাটি – মধ্যমগ্রাম – বারাসাত, জাগুলী – চাকদা, রানাঘাট – কৃষ্ণনগর -পলাশী, বহরমপুর – ওমরপুর – ফারাক্কা – মালদা – রায়গঞ্জ – ডালখোলা – ইসলামপুর – বাগডোগরা। 

এসবিএসটিসি-এর কলকাতা – শিলিগুড়ির ভলভো বাসটি ধর্মতলা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৬:১৫ মিনিটে ছাড়ে। আর শিলিগুড়ি তেনজিং নোরগে সেন্ট্রাল বাস টার্মিনাস (TNCBT) থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৭:৩৫ মিনিটে যাত্রা শুরু করে। অনলাইন টিকিট বুক করা যাবে রেডবাস অ্যাপিবি(Redbus App) বা এসবিএসটিসি (SBSTC App) থেকে।

বর্তমানে এই বাসটির ভাড়া ১,৩৩০ টাকা। সমগ্র যাত্রাপথে কোনো রেস্ট স্টপ নেই। কলকাতা থেকে শিলিগুড়ি পৌঁছতে সময় লাগবে প্রায় ১২ ঘণ্টার মতো। মোট ৫৩ সিটের এই বাসটি যেহেতু সরকারি, তাই পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের ফ্রি স্টেট ট্রান্সপোর্ট স্কিমের অধীনে মহিলারা বিনামূল্যে যাতায়াত করতে পারবেন এই বাসে।
