বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের ডিরেক্টর নাজমুল ইসলামের ক্রমাগত লাগামহীন মন্তব্যে ক্ষুব্ধ পদ্মা পাড়ের ক্রিকেটাররাই। প্রথমে তামিম ইকবালকে ভারতের দালাল তকমা দেওয়ার পর গতকাল টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপ প্রসঙ্গে নিজের দেশের প্লেয়ারদের নিয়েই অগ্রহণযোগ্য মন্তব্য করেন BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board) ডিরেক্টর। আর তারপরই প্রতিবাদ জানায় বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেটার্স ওয়েলফেয়ার সংস্থা। এবার সেই প্রতিবাদকে স্বাগত জানিয়েছেন ওপার বাংলার ক্রিকেটাররা। শুধু তাই নয়, বৃহস্পতিবার BPL খেলতে নামেনি দুই দলের প্লেয়াররা। সেই সাথে ওপারের খেলোয়াড়দের স্পষ্ট দাবি, নাজমুল ইসলামকে প্রকাশ্যে ক্ষমা চাইতে হবে। এসব নিয়ে এবার BPL এর সূচিতে বড়সড় বদল করল BCB।

পিছিয়ে গেল বাংলাদেশ প্রিমিয়ার লিগের একের পর এক ম্যাচ

বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের ডিরেক্টরের অগ্রহণযোগ্য মন্তব্যের পরই ওপার বাংলার ক্রিকেটারদের তরফে বিবৃতি দিয়ে তাঁকে প্রকাশ্যে ক্ষমা চাইতে বলা হয়। শুধু তাই নয়, ফিন্যান্স কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান পদ এবং বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের ডিরেক্টর পদ থেকেও তাঁকে ছাঁটাইয়ের প্রক্রিয়া চালিয়ে যাওয়ার আবেদন জানান ক্রিকেটাররা। ওপারের প্লেয়ারদের বক্তব্য, তাদের এই দুই শর্ত পূরণ হলে তবেই শুক্রবার BPL খেলতে নামবেন তারা।

প্রথম আলো সূত্রে খবর, গতকাল রাতে ক্রিকেটার অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সঙ্গে বৈঠক হয়েছিল বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের। সেখানে নাকি, নাজমুলের প্রকাশ্যে ক্ষমা চাওয়ার দাবি মেনে নেয়নি বোর্ড। এদিকে ক্রিকেটাররা নিজেদের দাবিতে অনড়। তাঁদের কথায়, নাজমুল প্রকাশ্যে ক্ষমা না চাইলে শুক্রবার খেলতে নামবেন না তারা। তবে কয়েকটি সূত্র বলছে, দাবি পূরণ না হলেও শুক্রবার বাংলাদেশ প্রিমিয়ার লিগে খেলতে নেমে যেতে পারেন প্লেয়াররা।

বলাই বাহুল্য, বৃহস্পতিবার ক্রিকেটাররা BPL ম্যাচ খেলতে না নামায় সেই ম্যাচ অনুষ্ঠিত হবে শুক্রবার এবং শুক্রবার ও শনিবারের ম্যাচগুলি যথাক্রমে শনিবার এবং রবিবারে পিছিয়ে নেওয়া হবে। সে ক্ষেত্রে বলাই যায়, রবিবারের ম্যাচ সোমবার এবং সোমবারের ম্যাচ মঙ্গলবার এভাবে প্রায় প্রত্যেক ম্যাচই এক ধাপ করে পেছবে। জানা যাচ্ছে, আগামী 19 জানুয়ারি এলিমিনেটর এবং প্রথম কোয়ালিফায়ার ম্যাচ হওয়ার কথা ছিল। সেই ম্যাচ অনুষ্ঠিত হবে 20 জানুয়ারি।
