সহেলি মিত্র, কলকাতাঃ ফের ভয়াবহ আগুন (Train Fire) লাগল যাত্রীবাহী ট্রেনে। হুড়োহুড়ি পড়ে গেল সাধারণ যাত্রীদের মধ্যে। রীতিমতো দাউদাউ করে জ্বলছে চেন্নাই এক্সপ্রেস (Chennai Express)। আজ মঙ্গলবার ট্রেন নম্বর ১২৬১৬ নয়াদিল্লি থেকে চেন্নাইগামী ট্রেনের একটি স্লিপার কোচে আগুন লেগে যায়। মধ্য রেলওয়ের নাগপুর বিভাগের সিন্ধি এবং তুলজাপুর স্টেশনের মধ্যে এই ঘটনা ঘটে।

চেন্নাই এক্সপ্রেসে বিধ্বংসী আগুন

একাধিক রিপোর্ট অনুসারে, চলন্ত ট্রেনে স্লিপার কোচ থেকে ধোঁয়া বের হতে দেখা যায়। এদিকে ধোঁয়া দেখে, নিরাপত্তার কারণে ট্রেনটি তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে থামানো হয়। স্বস্তি একটাই, ট্রেনের সব যাত্রীরা নিরাপদে রয়েছেন এবং কেউ আহত হননি। রেলওয়ে কর্মীরা দ্রুত ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত কোচটিকে ট্রেন থেকে আলাদা করে ফেলেন। স্থানীয় দমকল বাহিনীকেও ডাকা হয়। স্থানীয় রেলওয়ে কর্মীরা প্রাথমিকভাবে কোচে থাকা অগ্নিনির্বাপক যন্ত্র ব্যবহার করে আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনেন। আগুন পুরোপুরি নেভানোর চেষ্টা চলছে। প্রাথমিক তদন্তে এখনও আগুন লাগার সঠিক কারণ জানা যায়নি। রেলওয়ে কর্মকর্তারা বিষয়টি আরও তদন্ত করছেন।

কী বলছে রেল?

ঘটনা প্রসঙ্গে বড় তথ্য দিয়েছেন সেন্ট্রাল রেলওয়ের মুখপাত্র সঞ্জয় মুলে। তিনি জানিয়েছেন যে ট্রেন ১২৬১৬ নয়াদিল্লি-চেন্নাই (তাম্বারম) গ্র্যান্ড ট্রাঙ্ক এক্সপ্রেস আজ সকালে নাগপুর থেকে ছেড়ে যায়। এরপর সকাল ১১:০৯ মিনিটে ওয়ার্ধার সিন্ধি রেলওয়ে স্টেশনের দিকে যাওয়ার সময় শেষ গার্ডের কোচে ধোঁয়া দেখা যায়। তিনি বলেন, সিন্ধি-তুলজাপুর সেকশনে ট্রেনটি থামানো হয়, ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত কোচটি তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে আলাদা করা হয়। সঙ্গে দমকল কর্মীদের ডাকা হয়েছে।

কর্মকর্তা জানান, ট্রেনটি এবং তার সকল যাত্রী নিরাপদে আছেন। বিস্তারিত তদন্তের পর আগুন লাগার কারণ জানা যাবে। কর্মকর্তা আরও জানান, আক্রান্ত কোচ ছাড়াই ট্রেনটি শীঘ্রই ছেড়ে যাবে।
