বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: 2026-27 নতুন আর্থিক বছরের বাজেট পেশ করেই কেন্দ্রীয় অর্থমন্ত্রী নির্মলা সীতারমণ 4000 কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ সাত সাতটি নতুন হাই স্পিড রেল করিডোর (Bullet Train) পরিকল্পনা উন্মোচন করেন। রেল সূত্রে খবর, কমপক্ষে 16 লাখ কোটি টাকা বিনিয়োগ করে দেশের 7টি হাই স্পিড বা বুলেট ট্রেন রেল করিডোর এর কাজ চলবে। এর মধ্যে দক্ষিণ ভারতের প্রথম এবং গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বুলেট ট্রেন (Hyderabad-Chennai Bullet Train) প্রকল্প হায়দরাবাদ-চেন্নাই হাই স্পিড রেল করিডোর। এবার তা নিয়েই মিলল নতুন আপডেট।

মাত্র 2 ঘন্টা 55 মিনিটে হায়দরাবাদ থেকে চেন্নাই

কেন্দ্রীয় অর্থমন্ত্রী নির্মলার ঘোষণা অনুযায়ী, যে সাতটি নতুন উচ্চগতির রেল করিডরের ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে তার মধ্যে মুম্বই-পুনে রেল করিডোরের মাধ্যমে মাত্র 48 মিনিটে যাত্রা শেষ করা যাবে। অন্যদিকে চেন্নাই থেকে বেঙ্গালুরু পর্যন্ত যেতে বুলেট ট্রেনে সময় লাগবে 1 ঘন্টা 13 মিনিট। এদিকে বেঙ্গালুরু থেকে হায়দরাবাদ বুলেট ট্রেনে মাত্র 2 ঘন্টায় গন্তব্যে পৌঁছে যাবেন যাত্রীরা। সবচেয়ে উল্লেখযোগ্য বিষয়, চেন্নাই থেকে হায়দরাবাদ পর্যন্ত যে নতুন হাই স্পিড রেল করিডোর তৈরি হচ্ছে তার দৌলতে বুলেট ট্রেনে করে 2 ঘন্টা 55 মিনিটে গন্তব্যে পৌঁছন যাবে।

বলাই বাহুল্য, হায়দরাবাদ-চেন্নাই হাই স্পিড রেল করিডোর আসলে দক্ষিণ ভারতের প্রথম বুলেট ট্রেন প্রকল্প। রেলমন্ত্রক সূত্রে খবর, এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে দক্ষিণ ভারতের হায়দরাবাদ, বেঙ্গালুরু, চেন্নাই এবং অমরাবতীকে সংযুক্ত করা যাবে। রেল সূত্রে পাওয়া সর্বশেষ আপডেট অনুযায়ী, দক্ষিণ ভারতের প্রথম বুলেট ট্রেন হায়দরাবাদ-চেন্নাই হাই স্পিড রেল করিডোরে এই মুহূর্তে প্রকল্পের সম্ভাব্যতা যাচাই (Feasibility Study) ও চূড়ান্ত সমীক্ষার কাজ চলছে।

উল্লেখ্য, উপরি উক্ত উচ্চগতির রেল করিডোর ছাড়াও পুনে থেকে হায়দরাবাদ রেল করিডোরের মাধ্যমে মাত্র 1 ঘন্টা 55 মিনিটে পৌঁছান যাবে গন্তব্যে। একই সাথে বেঙ্গালুরু থেকে হায়দরাবাদ যাত্রায় সময় লাগবে 2 ঘন্টার কাছাকাছি। এছাড়াও দিল্লি-বারাণসী বুলেট ট্রেনে গন্তব্যে পৌঁছতে সময় লাগবে 3 ঘন্টা 50 মিনিট। এদিকে বাংলার প্রথম বুলেট ট্রেন বারানসী-শিলিগুড়ি পরিষেবায় 2 ঘন্টা 55 মিনিটের মধ্যেই গন্তব্যে পৌঁছতে পারবেন যাত্রীরা।
