বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: রাশিয়া থেকে তেল কেনার বিষয়টিকে অপরাধ বানিয়ে ভারতের উপর 50 শতাংশ শুল্ক চাপিয়েছেন আমেরিকার প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্প। আর এরপর থেকেই ভারত-আমেরিকা বাণিজ্যিক সম্পর্কে ছেদ পড়েছে।

নয়াদিল্লি স্পষ্ট জানিয়েছে, জাতীয় স্বার্থ সুরক্ষার্থে সব রকম পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হবে। এবার ঠিক সেই আবহে রাশিয়া থেকে তেল কেনা নিয়ে আমেরিকাকে বড় বার্তা দিলেন পুতিনের দেশে নিযুক্ত ভারতীয় রাষ্ট্রদূত বিনয় কুমার। বাণিজ্যে মার্কিন চোখ রাঙানিকে কাঁচকলা দেখিয়ে বিনয়ের স্পষ্ট দাবি, যেখানে সস্তায় পাবে, সেখান থেকেই তেল কিনবে ভারত।

জ্বালানি তেলের বাণিজ্যে তৃতীয় কোনও পক্ষের অংশগ্রহণ কিংবা চোখ রাঙানি সহ্য করবে না ভারত! কার্যত এমন ইঙ্গিত দিয়েই সম্প্রতি রুশ সংবাদ সংস্থা তাশের সাথে কথা বলতে গিয়ে রাশিয়ায় নিযুক্ত ভারতীয় রাষ্ট্রদূত বিনয় কুমার স্পষ্ট জানান, ভারত দেশের জনগণের স্বার্থে কোনও আপস করবে না।

ট্রাম্প প্রশাসন দিল্লির উপর 50 শতাংশ শুল্ক চাপিয়েছেন ঠিকই, তবে দেশের মানুষের ক্ষতি হয় এমন পথে কখনই হাঁটবে না ভারত সরকার। এক্ষেত্রে দেশের স্বার্থই সবার আগে। এদিন বিনয় আরও বলেন, রাশিয়া থেকে তেল কেনার কারণে ভারতের উপর যে জোর জুলুম করা হচ্ছে তা অন্যায় এবং অনুচিত।

এদিন বিনয় কুমারের সংযোজন ছিল, জ্বালানি সংক্রান্ত বাণিজ্য নিয়ে দেশের স্বার্থে যা করতে হয় সেটাই করবে ভারত সরকার। আমি মনে করি, বিশ্বের যেখানে সস্তায় তেল পাওয়া যাবে, সেখান থেকেই সেটি কিনবে ভারতীয় তেল সংস্থাগুলি। এরপরই রাশিয়ায় ভারতীয় রাষ্ট্রদূত বলে দেন, আমেরিকা সহ ইউরোপের দেশগুলি নিজেরাই রাশিয়ার সাথে বাণিজ্য চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। এমতাবস্থায, ভারতের প্রতি আমেরিকার এমন সিদ্ধান্ত পক্ষপাতদুষ্ট বলেই জানান তিনি।

উল্লেখ্য, সম্প্রতি দিল্লি সফরে এসে সাংবাদিকদের মুখোমুখি হয়ে ভ্লাদিমির পুতিনের দূত রোনাম বাবুশকিন ঘোষণা করেন, আমেরিকা যদি শেষ পর্যন্ত ভারতীয় পণ্য কিনতে রাজি না হয়, তবে রাশিয়া বন্ধুর জন্য নিজের বাজার খুলে দেবে। তেল সহ অন্যান্য সব ধরনের পণ্য নয়া দিল্লিকে সরবরাহ করবে মস্কো। শুধু তাই নয়, এদিন ভারতের প্রতি আমেরিকার শুল্ক সংক্রান্ত এমন চাপকে সরাসরি একতরফা এবং অনেক যে বলেই তোপ দাগেন রাশিয়ার দূত।
