রাজ্যের সমস্ত মাদ্রাসার সাপ্তাহিক ছুটির দিন বদল, ঘোষণা মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর

বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: রাজ্যে মাদ্রাসাগুলির (Madrasa) সাপ্তাহিক ছুটির দিন বদল। শুক্রবারের বদলে এবার থেকে রবিবার বন্ধ থাকবে সমস্ত মাদ্রাসা। এমনটাই জানিয়েছেন, উত্তরাখণ্ডের (Uttarakhand) মুখ্যমন্ত্রী পুষ্কর সিং ধামি। এর আগে গত পহেলা জুলাই বিলুপ্ত হয়ে যায় উত্তরাখণ্ডের মাদ্রাসা শিক্ষা। ভেঙে দেওয়া হয় রাজ্যটির মাদ্রাসা বোর্ড। সেই পদক্ষেপের পর এবার আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে রাজ্যটির সমস্ত মাদ্রাসার ছুটির দিন শুক্রবারের বদলে রবিবার করা হল। যদিও উত্তরাখণ্ড সরকারের এই সিদ্ধান্তে বেড়েছে রাজনৈতিক তরজা।

হঠাৎ কেন এমন সিদ্ধান্ত?

পুলিশ লাইনসে আয়োজিত এক বিশেষ অনুষ্ঠানে অংশগ্রহণ করে সাংবাদিকদের মুখোমুখি হয়ে উত্তরাখণ্ডের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী পুস্কর সিং ধামি জানান, “রাজ্যে ইতিমধ্যেই অভিন্ন দেওয়ানী বিধি কার্যকর রয়েছে। সুতরাং সকলের জন্য একই নিয়ম-কানুন থাকা উচিত এবং শিক্ষা ক্ষেত্রেও এটি প্রযোজ্য হবে।” এরপরই রাজ্যটির মাদ্রাসার ছুটি নিয়েও কথা বলতে শোনা যায় মুখ্যমন্ত্রীকে।

ভিন রাজ্যের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী একেবারে সরাসরি ঘোষণা করেন, “অভিন্ন দেওয়ানি বিধি মেনেই সকলের জন্য সমান নিয়ম কার্যকর হবে। এখন থেকে রাজ্যের সমস্ত মাদ্রাসা শুক্রবারের পরিবর্তে রবিবার ছুটি থাকবে। যদিও উত্তরাখণ্ড সরকারের এমন সিদ্ধান্তকে নিছকই রাজনৈতিক কৌশল বলে দাগিয়ে দিয়েছে কংগ্রেস। উত্তরাখণ্ড রাজ্য কংগ্রেসের মুখপাত্র ডঃ প্রতিমা সিং বলেন, ‘সরকারের কাছে মসজিদ, মাদ্রাসা এবং মাজার ছাড়া আর কিছুই নেই। এসব নিয়েই পড়ে রয়েছে সরকার!”

ওই কংগ্রেস নেত্রীর বক্তব্য, সরকার রাজ্যটির মাদ্রাসা প্রথা বা মাদ্রাসা বোর্ড বিলুপ্ত করে দিয়েছে। এদিকে অবশিষ্ট যেটুকু যা মাদ্রাসা রয়েছে সেগুলির দিকেও কেউ সেভাবে নজর দিচ্ছে না। তবে বিরোধীদের তরফে মাদ্রাসার ছুটির দিনবদল নিয়ে আঙুল তোলা হলেও এই সরকারি সিদ্ধান্তকে স্বাগত জানিয়েছেন মাদ্রাসা শিক্ষক থেকে শুরু করে বুদ্ধিজীবীরাও।
