SIR ইস্যুতে ক্ষোভ! উঠল ‘গো ব্যাক’ স্লোগান, কালীঘাটে পুজো দিতে গিয়ে বিক্ষোভের মুখে জ্ঞানেশ কুমার

প্রীতি পোদ্দার, কলকাতা: নির্বাচনের (West Bengal Election 2026) আবহে রাজ্য জুড়ে উত্তপ্ত পরিস্থিতি, মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর সিংহাসন দখলের করার জন্য রীতিমত উঠে পড়ে লেগেছে রাজনৈতিক দলগুলি। আর এই অবস্থায় রাজ্যে তিন দিনের সফরে এসেছেন জাতীয় নির্বাচন কমিশনারের ফুল বেঞ্চ। সোমবার সকালে বৈঠক শুরুর আগে কালীঘাট মন্দিরে পুজো দিতে গিয়েছিলেন দেশের মুখ্য নির্বাচন কমিশনার জ্ঞানেশ কুমার (CEC Gyanesh Kumar)। কিন্তু তাঁর গাড়ি মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের (Mamata Banerjee) পাড়ায় ঢুকতেই শুরু হয় বিক্ষোভ, ওঠে গো ব্যাক স্লোগান। ক্ষুব্ধ পরিস্থিতি মন্দির এলাকা জুড়ে।

পুজো দিতে গিয়ে বিক্ষোভের মুখে জ্ঞানেশ

পূর্ব পরিকল্পনা অনুযায়ী, বিধানসভা নির্বাচন সংক্রান্ত বৈঠকের জন্য গতকাল অর্থাৎ রবিবার রাতে কলকাতায় এসেছে নির্বাচন কমিশনের ফুল বেঞ্চ। আজ থেকেই দফায় দফায় রাজ্য প্রশাসন, বিভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক দলের সঙ্গে তাদের বৈঠক করার কথা। কিন্তু এসবের আগে সকালে কালীঘাট মন্দিরে পুজো দিতে গিয়েছিলেন মুখ্য নির্বাচন কমিশনার জ্ঞানেশ কুমার। তাঁর সঙ্গে ছিলেন রাজ্যের মুখ্য নির্বাচনী আধিকারিক মনোজকুমার আগরওয়ালও। কিন্তু এই পুজো দেওয়া নিয়ে মন্দিরের সামনে শুরু হল তুমুল বিক্ষোভ। কালো পতাকা হাতে নিয়ে নির্বাচন কমিশনারের বিরুদ্ধে উঠল গো ব্যাক স্লোগান।

আরতি এবং অঞ্জলি দিলেন মুখ্য নির্বাচন কমিশনার

সোমবার সকাল থেকেই কালীঘাট মন্দিরের (Kalighat Mandir) বাইরে হাতে কালো পতাকা নিয়ে জমায়েত করেছিলেন একদল বিক্ষোভকারী। অভিযোগ, এসআইআর-এর মাধ্যমে ভোটার তালিকা থেকে অযথা অনেকের নাম বাদ দিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে।তবে সেই বিক্ষোভ এবং গো ব্যাকের স্লোগানকে খুব একটা পাত্তা দিলেন না জ্ঞানেশ কুমার। শান্তভাবে বিক্ষোভকারীদের কাটিয়ে মন্দিরে প্রবেশ করেন তিনি। কোনও মন্তব্য করেননি। পুজো দেন মায়ের, আরতি এবং অঞ্জলিও দিয়েছিলেন। এরপর মন্দির থেকে বেরোনোর সময় সাংবাদিকদের মুখোমুখি হন জ্ঞানেশ কুমার। তিনি বলেন ‘‘পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সকল ভাইবোনকে আমার নমস্কার। কালী মা সকলকে ভাল রাখুন।’’ কিন্তু বিক্ষোভ নিয়ে কোনও মন্তব্য করতে চাননি কমিশনার।

প্রসঙ্গত, শুধু কালীঘাট মন্দিরেই যে শুধু মুখ্য নির্বাচন কমিশনার জ্ঞানেশ কুমার স্লোগান এবং বিক্ষোভের মুখোমুখি হয়েছেন তা কিন্তু নয়, গতকাল রাতে কলকাতা বিমানবন্দর থেকে নিউটাউনের হোটেল পর্যন্ত তাঁর যাত্রাপথে ‘গো ব্যাক’ স্লোগান ওঠে। দেখানো হয় কালো পতাকাও। যদিও সেই নিয়েও কোনো মন্তব্য করতে চাননি। এদিন ফুল বেঞ্চের সঙ্গে রয়েছেন আরও দুই নির্বাচন কমিশনার সুখবীর সিংহ সান্ধু এবং বিবেক জোশীও। আগামীকাল অর্থাৎ মঙ্গলবার, বেলুর মঠে যাওয়ার কথা তাঁর।
