বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: ভারতীয় রেলের গর্ব বন্দে ভারত এক্সপ্রেস (Vande Bharat Express)। এই বিশেষ ট্রেনটি চালু হওয়ার পর খুব অল্প সময়ের মধ্যেই জনপ্রিয়তা পেয়েছে। কমবেশি সকলেই জানেন, এই ট্রেনের সর্বোচ্চ গতি ঘন্টায় 180 কিলোমিটার হলেও দেশের সর্বত্র রেল লাইনের ধারণ ক্ষমতার সমান না হওয়ার কারণে ট্রেনটি 160 কিলোমিটার প্রতি ঘন্টায় গতিতেই ছুটতো। এ নিয়ে আগেই বিশেষজ্ঞরা জানিয়েছিলেন, ভারতের রেল ট্রাকের খারাপ অবস্থার কারণেই ট্রেনটি তার নির্ধারিত গতিতে ছুটতে পারত না। তবে এবার কোটা-চৌমাহলা রুটে 180 কিলোমিটার প্রতি ঘন্টা গতিতে দৌড়াল বন্দে ভারত।

বিশেষ পরীক্ষায় সফল বন্দে ভারত এক্সপ্রেস

সম্প্রতি ঝাড়খন্ড রেলওয়ে ইউজারস নামক একটি X হ্যান্ডেল থেকে পোস্ট হওয়া ভিডিওতে দেখা গিয়েছে। কোটা থেকে চৌমাহলা রুটে 180 কিলোমিটার গতিতে ছুটছে বন্দে ভারত এক্সপ্রেস। ওই পোস্টে দাবি করা হয়েছে, কোটা থেকে চৌমাহলা সেকশনে প্রথমবারের মতো পরীক্ষামূলকভাবে 180 কিলোমিটারের সর্বোচ্চ গতিতে ছুটল বন্দে ভারত ট্রেনটি। এর ফলে এই ট্রেনটি হয়ে উঠলো ওই সেকশনের প্রথম সর্বোচ্চ গতিতে ছোটা বন্দে ভারত।

ভারতীয় রেলের রিসার্চ ডিজাইনস অ্যান্ড স্ট্যান্ডার্ডস অর্গানাইজেশন বা RDSO এর ডিরেক্টর ধীরেন্দ্র কুলশ্রেষ্ঠের তত্ত্বাবধানে বন্দে ভারত এক্সপ্রেসের পরীক্ষাটি হয়েছিল। সেই পরীক্ষায় ট্রেনটি একেবারে সফলভাবে 180 কিলোমিটার প্রতি ঘন্টার গতি ছুঁয়ে ফেলে। আর তারপরই এ নিয়ে সিনিয়র ডিভিশনাল কমার্শিয়াল ম্যানেজার সৌরভ জৈন জানিয়েছেন, “অ্যালস্টম ট্রান্সপোর্ট ইন্ডিয়া লিমিটেড এই উন্নত এবং অত্যাধুনিক বন্দে ভারত ট্রেনসেটটি তৈরি করেছে। সর্বোচ্চ গতিতে ছোটার পরীক্ষায় ট্রেনটি সফল হওয়ায় ভারতের সেমি হাইস্পিড ট্রেন নেটওয়ার্ক আরও শক্তিশালী হল।”

প্রসঙ্গত, ভারতীয় রেলের গর্ব বন্দে ভারত এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেনটির সফল পরীক্ষার পরই পশ্চিম মধ্য রেলওয়ের কর্মকর্তারা জানিয়েছেন, 180 কিলোমিটার প্রতি ঘন্টা গতিতে ট্রেনটি যাতে নিরাপদে ছুটতে পারে সে জন্য ট্রাকশন পারফরম্যান্স, ব্রেকিং সিস্টেম সহ সিস্টেম ইন্টিগ্রেশন এর মতো বেশ কিছু প্যারামিটার পরীক্ষা করা হয়েছিল। আর এই পরীক্ষায় কোটা ডিভিশনের অপারেশনাল স্টাফরা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করেছেন।
