২,০৭৭ কোটি খরচ, দার্জিলিং থেকে ৩২৭ নং জাতীয় সড়ককে ফোর-লেন করার ঘোষণা

অনন্যা সরকার, দার্জিলিং: দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই উত্তরবঙ্গের মানুষের সড়ক ও যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা নিয়ে অভিযোগ ছিল। বর্তমানে কেন্দ্র ও রাজ্য সরকারের মিলিত প্রয়াসে উত্তরবঙ্গের সড়ক ব্যবস্থায় নতুন দিশা দেখা যাচ্ছে। সম্প্রতি জানা গেছে উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার কানকির কাছে গড়হাপ্পা থেকে গোয়ালপোখরের হাটওয়ার পর্যন্ত ২৭ নম্বর জাতীয় সড়ক বরাবর একটি ফোর লেন গ্রিন ফিল্ড করিডোর নির্মাণ করা হবে। আর এবার কেন্দ্রীয় সড়ক পরিবহন ও মহাসড়ক মন্ত্রী নীতিন গড়করি বৃহস্পতিবার দার্জিলিং জেলার বাগডোগরার সাথে বিহারের কিষাণগঞ্জ জেলার গালগালিয়াকে সংযোগকারী এনএইচ-৩২৭ (NH-327) অংশে চার-লেন (Four Laning Project) তৈরির জন্য ২,০৭৭ কোটি টাকার প্রকল্পের অনুমোদনের কথা ঘোষণা করেছেন। 

দার্জিলিং-এ ৩২৭ নম্বর জাতীয় সড়কের অংশে ফোর-লেন নির্মাণ

কেন্দ্রের অনুমোদিত এই প্রকল্পে ৩২৭ নং জাতীয় সড়কের ৩১.০২ কিলোমিটার জুড়ে বাগডোগরা-পানিটাঙ্কি-খড়িবাড়ি-গালগালিয়া অংশে চার-লেনের কাজটি হবে। এই প্রকল্পটি ২,০৭৭.১৮ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে অনুমোদিত হয়েছে বলে নীতিন গডকরি তাঁর সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া পোস্টে জানান।

এছাড়াও কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী জানিয়েছেন যে, এই প্রকল্পে তিনটি প্রধান ব্রিজ, একটি রোড ওভার ব্রিজ, পাঁচটি হাতি চলাচলের আন্ডারপাস এবং রাস্তার দুই ধারে সার্ভিস রোড অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকবে। কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী জানিয়েছেন যে, এই সুবিধাগুলি যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থাকে উন্নত করবে এবং এই করিডোর দিয়ে মানুষ ও বন্যপ্রাণী – উভয়েরই নিরাপদ চলাচল নিশ্চিত করবে।

উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে, এই মহাসড়কটি কৌশলগতভাবে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শিলিগুড়ি করিডোর বা ‘চিকেন নেক’ (Chicken Neck)-এর মধ্যে দিয়ে গেছে, যা উত্তর-পূর্বাঞ্চলের রাজ্যগুলির সঙ্গে ভারতের অন্যান্য প্রদেশগুলির সংযোগ স্থাপনের প্রধান পথ। নীতিন গডকরি জানিয়েছেন যে, এই প্রকল্পটি উত্তর-পূর্বের সঙ্গে সংযোগ আরও জোরদার করার পাশাপাশি নেপাল, ভুটান ও বাংলাদেশের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা উন্নত করবে।

এই প্রস্তাবিত চার-লেন প্রকল্পটি বাগডোগরা, নকশালবাড়ি, খড়িবাড়ি এবং পানিটাঙ্কির মধ্যে যানজট কমাতে সাহায্য করবে এবং বাগডোগরা বিমানবন্দর ও অন্যান্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অঞ্চলগুলির সঙ্গে যোগাযোগও উন্নত করবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে। এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে উত্তরবঙ্গ থেকে বিভিন্ন পণ্য বৃহত্তর বাজারে দ্রুত পরিবহন করা যাবে, যা স্থানীয় কৃষিজীবী ও ব্যবসায়ীদের জন্য বিশেষভাবে লাভজনক হয়ে উঠতে পারে।
