সৌভিক মুখার্জী, কলকাতা: বিজেপিশাসিত অসমে দুরবস্থা সংখ্যালঘুদের। হিমন্ত সরকারের পরিচালিত উচ্ছেদ অভিযানে এবার মানবিক সংকটের মুখে সংখ্যালঘুরা (Assam Minority)। রাজ্যের নগাঁও, গোলাহাট এবং হোজাই জেলায় টানা দুই দিনের উচ্ছেদ এবং বুলডোজার অভিজানে আনুমানিক ১১০০-এর বেশি বাঙালি মুসলিম পরিবারকে উচ্ছেদ করা হয়েছে বলে খবর। এমনকি এই অভিযানের সময় ১০টির বেশি মসজিদ বুলডোজার দিয়ে গুঁড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে বলেই এএনআই সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে।

অসমে বুলডোজার অভিযান

সূত্রের খবর, রবিবার নগাঁও জেলার লুতুমারি লংসাপ সংরক্ষিত বনাঞ্চলে একটি অভিযান চালিয়ে ৬০০-এর বেশি মুসলিম পরিবারের বাড়িঘর ভেঙে একেবারে গুঁড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়। প্রশাসনের দাবি, এই পরিবারগুলি বনভূমির জমিতে অবৈধভাবে বসবাস করছিল। এদিকে এর আগে শনিবার অভিযানের প্রথম দিনেই এই তিন জেলা থেকে মোট ৫৪৭টি পরিবার উচ্ছেদ করা হয়। যার মধ্যে নগাঁওতে শুধু ৩৩৬টি, হোজাইতে ১৫২টি এবং গোলাঘাটে ৫৯টি পরিবার ছিল।

লুতুমারি এলাকার বাসিন্দারা প্রশাসনের এই উচ্ছেদ ও দখলদার অভিযানের তীব্র বিরোধিতা করেছেন। তাঁদের দাবি, তাঁরা এখানে অবৈধ দখলদার নন, বরং বছরের পর বছর ধরে এখানে বসবাস করে আসছেন। এমনকি তাঁদের পূর্বপুরুষরা একসময় বন বিভাগের শ্রমিক হিসেবে কাজ করতেন এবং পরবর্তী সময়ে সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে তাঁদের এখানে পুনর্বাসন দেওয়া হয়। এদিকে অল ইন্ডিয়া ইউনিয়ন অফ ফরেস্ট ওয়ার্কিং পিপলের পক্ষ থেকে চলতি বছর জুন মাসেই লুতুমারি সংরক্ষিত বনাঞ্চলের গ্রামবাসীদের এই উচ্ছেদ পরিকল্পনা বন্ধের দাবি জানানো হয়। তবে সেই দাবিও মান্যতা দেয়নি বিজেপি সরকার।

এ বিষয়ে লুতুমারি গ্রামের ৪৪ বছর বয়সী বাসিন্দা আব্দুল আলী জানিয়েছেন, “১৯৭৪ সালে সরকার আমাদের এখানে পুনর্বাসন দিয়েছিল। আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা নিকটবর্তী জুড়িয়া শহরে ভূমিহীন হওয়ার কারণে সরকার আমাদের জমির ব্যবস্থা করে দিয়েছিল। তবে এখন আমাদের উচ্ছেদ করছে এই সরকার।” এমনকি উচ্ছেদ অভিযানের পাশাপাশি যে ১০টির বেশি মসজিদ বুলডোজার দিয়ে গুঁড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে, সেগুলি অন্তত ৫০ বছরের বেশি পুরনো ছিল বলেই স্থানীয় সূত্রে খবর।
