আনিষা চৌধুরী, কলকাতা: নয়াদিল্লিতে আয়োজিত হল ব্রিকস (BRICS) সম্মেলন। এই সম্মেলনে যোগ দিতে এসে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদির সঙ্গে দ্বিপাক্ষিক বৈঠকে বসলেন চিনের প্রেসিডেন্ট শি জিনপিং। এই বৈঠকে দুই দেশের পারস্পরিক সম্পর্ককে আরও মজবুত করা কতটা প্রয়োজন, সেই প্রসঙ্গই তুলে ধরেছেন চিনা প্রেসিডেন্ট। রয়টার্সের রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, ভারতের সঙ্গে চিনের সহযোগিতা (India-China Relations) বাড়ানোর পক্ষে সওয়াল করেন প্রেসিডেন্ট শি জিনপিং। তাঁর বক্তব্যে বারবার দুই দেশের মধ্যে যোগাযোগ স্থাপন ও একসঙ্গে কাজ করার প্রয়োজনীয়তা স্পষ্টভাবে উঠে এসেছে।

ব্রিকসকে শক্তিশালী করতে ভারত-চিনের সহযোগিতা

প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদির সঙ্গে আলোচনায় শি জিনপিং বলেন, ব্রিকসকে আরও কার্যকরভাবে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যেতে ভারত ও চিনের একসঙ্গে কাজ করা প্রয়োজন। দুই দেশের মধ্যে সহযোগিতা বাড়লে শুধু দ্বিপাক্ষিক সম্পর্কই নয়, ব্রিকসের কাজও আরও ভালোভাবে এগিয়ে যেতে পারবে, এমনটাই জানিয়েছেন তিনি। ফলে বৈঠকে ভারত-চিনের সম্পর্কের পাশাপাশি আন্তর্জাতিক মঞ্চে দুই দেশের সহযোগিতার বিষয়টিও বিশেষভাবে গুরুত্ব পেয়েছে।

রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, বৈঠকে শি জিনপিং আরও বলেন, ভারত ও চিনের একে অপরের কাছ থেকে শেখার মতো অনেক কিছু রয়েছে। তাঁর কথায়, দুই দেশই তাদের পরস্পরের অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে উপকৃত হতে পারে। পাশাপাশি ভারতের সঙ্গে সম্পর্ককে চিন দীর্ঘমেয়াদি ও কৌশলগত দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি থেকে দেখে বলেও জানিয়েছেন প্রেসিডেন্ট।
