সৌভিক মুখার্জী, কলকাতা: ফের রেকর্ড গড়ল ভারতের বৈদেশিক মুদ্রার রিজার্ভ (Forex Reserve of India)। ভারতীয় রিজার্ভ ব্যাংকের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, ২৮ আগস্ট শেষ হওয়া সপ্তাহে দেশের ফরেক্স রিজার্ভ ১১.৪৭ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ৭৪০.৮০ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলারে। এর আগের সপ্তাহে দেশের বৈদেশিক মুদ্রার মজুদ বেড়েছিল ১২.৪২ বিলিয়ন ডলার, এবং বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছিল ৭২৯.৩২৮ বিলিয়ন ডলারে। আর এবারের বৃদ্ধি সর্বকালের সেরা রেকর্ড। এমনকি এর জেরে টাকার দামও অনেকটাই ঘুরে দাঁড়িয়েছে।

রেকর্ড গড়ল ভারতের বৈদেশিক মুদ্রার রিজার্ভ

যেখানে পশ্চিম এশিয়ার যুদ্ধ এখনও থামার নামগন্ধ নেই, সেখানে দেশের অর্থনীতি রকেটের গতিতে ছুটছে। সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে ডলারের বিপরীতে টাকার দাম কিছুটা পতন হলেও তা আবারও অনেকটাই ঘুরে দাঁড়িয়ে আগের অবস্থানে ফিরেছে। এমনকি বিগত দুই মাসের মধ্যে এখন সর্বোচ্চ স্তরে রয়েছে ভারতীয় রুপির দাম। এদিকে এরই মধ্যে দেশের বৈদেশিক মুদ্রার ভাণ্ডার সর্বকালের সর্বোচ্চ স্তরে পৌঁছেছে। এমনকি জানলে অবাক হবেন, চলতি সপ্তাহে বৈদেশিক মুদ্রার মজুদের সবথেকে বড় উৎস ফরেন কারেন্সি অ্যাসেটস ৯.৩৩৭ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ৬০০.৬৭ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলারে।

মার্চ মাসের শেষ সময়ের তুলনায় এই অ্যাসেটসের পরিমাণ বেড়েছে ৪৮.৩৮৭ বিলিয়ন ডলার এবং বিগত এক বছরের তুলনায় তা ১৬.৭৩ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন বেশি। এর পাশাপাশি সোনার মজুদ নিয়ে যদি কথা বলি, সেক্ষেত্রে তা বেড়েছে ২.১৯১ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার এবং এখন দাঁড়িয়েছে ১১৬.৪০৯ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলারে। অন্যদিকে মার্চ মাসের শেষ থেকে স্বর্ণের মজুদ বেড়েছে ১.০১৪ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার এবং বিগত এক বছরের তুলনায় তা বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে ২৯.৬৪১ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার।

অন্যদিকে আন্তর্জাতিক মুদ্রা তহবিলের কাছে ভারতের স্পেশাল ড্রয়িং রাইটসের পরিমাণ বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ১৮.৮১ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলারে, যা বিগত সপ্তাহের তুলনায় ৪৩ মিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার কম। যদিও মার্চ মাসের শেষের তুলনায় তা ১৮৮ মিলিয়ন ডলার বেশি। এছাড়া এই সপ্তাহে আইএমএফ-র কাছে দেশের রিজার্ভের পরিমাণ ১১ মিলিয়ন ডলার কমেছে, এবং তা বর্তমানে দাঁড়িয়েছে ৪.৯১৪ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলারে। তবে এটি মার্চ মাসের শেষের তুলনায় ১০৬ মিলিয়ন ডলার বেশি। এইভাবে যদি এগোতে থাকে দেশের অর্থনীতি, তাহলে বৈদেশিক মুদ্রার ভাণ্ডার খুব শীঘ্রই ১ ট্রিলিয়ন ডলারে পৌঁছবে বলেই মনে করছেন বিশেষজ্ঞরা।
