আর সেই রিপোর্ট দেখেই 28 আগস্ট থেকে শুরু হতে যাওয়া ঘরোয়া টুর্নামেন্ট দিলীপ ট্রফি থেকে ভারতীয় ক্রিকেটারকে বাদ দিয়েছে BCCI। আপাতত তাঁকে সম্পূর্ণ বিশ্রামে থাকার পরামর্শ দিয়েছেন ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের চিকিৎসক দল। সেই মতোই, শুভমন এখন চন্ডিগড়ের বাড়িতে রয়েছেন।
