বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেন নিয়ে ভারতীয় রেলের বড় সাফল্য। হয়ে গেল হাইড্রোজেন চালিত ট্রেন কোচের সফল পরীক্ষা। রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, চেন্নাইয়ের ইন্টিগ্রাল কোচ ফ্যাক্টরিতে তৈরি হচ্ছে হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেন। আর সেখানেই পরীক্ষা করা হয় দেশের প্রথম হাইড্রোজেন চালিত ট্রেনের কোচটি। শুক্রবার কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী অশ্বিনী বৈষ্ণব নিজের X হ্যান্ডেলে সেই ভিডিও পোস্ট করেছেন।

কবে নাগাদ ভারতীয় রেলের ট্র্যাকে ছুটবে হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেন?

বিশ্বের খুব কম সংখ্যক দেশেই রয়েছে হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেন। সেই তালিকায় গর্বের সাথে নাম জুড়েছে ভারতেরও। রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, চেন্নাইয়ের ফ্যাক্টরিতে নির্মীয়মান হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেনটি 1200 হর্স পাওয়ার ক্ষমতা সম্পন্ন হতে চলেছে।

এদিকে হাইড্রোজেন চালিত ট্রেনের প্রথম কোচটির সফল পরীক্ষার পরই দেশের মাটিতে হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেন পরিষেবার দিনক্ষণ জানিয়ে দিয়েছে চেন্নাইয়ের ইন্টিগ্রাল কোচ ফ্যাক্টরি।
চেন্নাইয়ের ওই ফ্যাক্টরির তরফে স্পষ্ট জানানো হয়, প্রথম কোচের সফল পরীক্ষা হয়ে গিয়েছে।

সব ঠিক থাকলে আসন্ন আগস্ট মাসের একেবারে শেষ ভাগে ভারতীয় রেলের ট্রাকে গড়াবে হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেনের চাকা। রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, প্রথম কোচের সফল পরীক্ষার পর খুব শীঘ্রই ভিলিভাক্কামে হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেনের ট্রায়াল রান শুরু করবে ভারতীয় রেলওয়ে।

 

প্রথম কোন রুটে ছুটবে হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেন?

পেট্রোল, ডিজেলের পরিবর্তে পরিবেশ বান্ধব হাইড্রোজেন চালিত প্রথম ট্রেনটি খুব সম্ভবত নর্দান রেলওয়ের অধীনস্থ জিন্দ-সোনিপত রুটে ছুটবে। জানা যাচ্ছে, হাইড্রোজেন চালিত ট্রেনটির দু প্রান্তে থাকবে দুটি ইঞ্জিন। এবং মাঝে যাত্রীদের জন্য মোট 8টি কোচ থাকার কথা। এছাড়াও প্রাপ্ত তথ্য অনুযায়ী, এই হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেনটি লোকাল ট্রেনের রুটে চললেও ঘন্টায় 110 কিলোমিটার বেগে ছুটবে।

উল্লেখ্য, রেলমন্ত্রীর বক্তব্য অনুযায়ী, দেশের মাটিতে মোট 35টি হাইড্রোজেন চালিত ট্রেন চালাবে ভারতীয় রেল। প্রতিটি ট্রেন বাবদ রেলের খরচ পড়বে 80 কোটি টাকা। কাজেই, মোট 35টি হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেন সহ রেলের যাবতীয় পরিকাঠামো নিয়ে এই গোটা প্রকল্পে খরচ হবে 70 হাজার কোটি টাকা। বলা বাহুল্য, কোচের সফল পরীক্ষা পর খুব শীঘ্রই হাইড্রোজেন ট্রেন নিয়ে নতুন সরকারি ঘোষণা আসতে পারে।
