মুখোমুখি সংঘর্ষ দুই বিমানের, ফিলিপাইনে ভয়াবহ দুর্ঘটনায় পাইলটসহ নিহত ৪

সৌভিক মুখার্জী, কলকাতা: মর্মান্তিক বিমান দুর্ঘটনা ফিলিপাইনে (Philippines)। পাইলট সহ নিহত হলেন বিমান বাহিনীর চারজন। বাতানাস প্রদেশের ফার্নান্দো এয়ার বেসের রুটিন প্রশিক্ষণ চলাকালীন ফিলিপাইন বিমানবাহিনীর দুটি এসএফ-২৬০ ট্রেনার বিমান এই দুর্ঘটনার কবলে পড়েছে বলেই সে দেশের সংবাদমাধ্যম অনুযায়ী খবর।

ভয়াবহ বিমান দুর্ঘটনা ফিলিপাইনে

শনিবার দেশটির সামরিক বাহিনীর পক্ষ থেকে এই খবর নিশ্চিত করা হয়। বিমান বাহিনীর দেওয়া তথ্য অনুযায়ী, দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে গত শুক্রবার বিকাল ৩.৫১ মিনিটে। বিমানগুলি এয়ারবেসের সীমানার ভেতরেই আছড়ে পড়েছে বলে খবর। তবে এই ঘটনায় চারজন বাদে অন্য কারও হতাহতের খবর এখনও পর্যন্ত মেলেনি। স্থানীয় সূত্রে খবর, প্রশিক্ষণ চলাকালীন ওই বিমান দুটি মাঝ আকাশে একে অপরের সঙ্গে সংঘর্ষে জড়িয়ে পড়ে। তার পরপরই নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে মাটিতে ভেঙে পড়ে সেগুলি।

যদিও দুর্ঘটনার কারণ এখনও পর্যন্ত আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে নিশ্চিত করা হয়নি দেশটির সামরিক বাহিনীর তরফ থেকে এবং পুরো বিষয়টি খতিয়ে দেখতে একটি উচ্চ পর্যায়ের তদন্ত শুরু হয়েছে। তবে নিহত পাইলটদের পরিবারের মধ্যে সমবেদনা জানিয়ে ফিলিপাইন বিমান বাহিনীর তরফ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, নিহত পরিবারগুলির পাশে থেকে সমস্ত রকম সাহায্য করা হবে। এর পাশাপাশি দুর্ঘটনাটির সঠিক কারণ উদ্ঘাটন না হওয়া পর্যন্ত বিমান বাহিনী তাদের পুরো এসএফ-২৬০ ট্রেনার বিমান বহরকে সাময়িকভাবে গ্রাউন্ড বা মাটিতেই আটকে রাখার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে।

বলাবাহুল্য, এর আগে ফিলিপাইনে একই ধরনের বিমান দুর্ঘটনা ঘটেছে একাধিকবার। চলতি বছরের মে মাসেই উত্তর ফিলিপাইনে একই ধরনের এক দুর্ঘটনায় দুই পাইলট নিহত হন। এর পাশাপাশি ২০২৩ সালে আরও একটি এসএফ-২৬০ বিমান প্রশিক্ষণ চলাকালীন বিধ্বস্ত হয়ে প্রাণ গিয়েছিল দুই পাইলটের।
