প্রসঙ্গত, চিনের কাছ থেকে উন্নত যুদ্ধবিমান কেনার প্রসঙ্গে বাংলাদেশ ইনস্টিটিউট অফ পিস অ্যান্ড সিকিউরিটি স্টাডিজের সভাপতি অবসরপ্রাপ্ত মেজর জেনারেল এএনএম মুনিরউজ্জামান জানিয়েছেন, ‘বাংলাদেশের বায়ুসেনা বহুদিন ধরেই নতুন যুদ্ধবিমান কেনার পরিকল্পনা করছিল। সেই মতোই পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হচ্ছে।’ তাঁর দাবি, ‘বর্তমানে গোটা বিশ্বের ভূ-রাজনৈতিক পরিবেশ যেভাবে পাল্টে যাচ্ছে তাতে অন্য দেশের কাছ থেকে বিমান কেনার আগে সমস্ত দিক বিশ্লেষণ করে নেয়া উচিত।’ এদিকে, দেশের স্বার্থে চিন থেকে 20টি যুদ্ধবিমান কেনা নিয়ে ইউনূসের পদক্ষেপকে স্বাগত জানিয়েছেন ওপার বাংলার অনেকেই!
