৫ ট্রাঙ্ক খোলা থাকার অভিযোগ! শিলিগুড়িতে থমকাল ব্যালট ভোট গণনা

প্রীতি পোদ্দার, কলকাতা: শুরু হয়ে গিয়েছে ভোট কাউন্টিং। রাজ্যে বিধানসভা নির্বাচনে (West Bengal Election 2026) কে এগিয়ে কে পিছিয়ে তা নিয়ে শুরু হয়েছে জোর চর্চা। এমতাবস্থায় শিলিগুড়ি (Siliguri) বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রের গণনার কাজ সাময়িকভাবে বন্ধ হয়ে গেল। সেখানে ৫টি ব্যালট ট্রাঙ্ক খোলা থাকার অভিযোগ উঠে এল তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের তরফে। এই নিয়ে রণক্ষেত্রের চেহারা নিল গোটা এলাকায়।

সাময়িক বন্ধ শিলিগুড়ি বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রের গণনা

রিপোর্ট মোতাবেক, আজ, সোমবার, সকাল ৮ টা থেকে শুরু হয়েছে ভোট গণনা। প্রথমেই শুরু পোস্টাল ব্যালটের গণনা। বেশ কয়েকটি কেন্দ্রে ভোট গণনা শুরু হলেও থমকে গেল শিলিগুড়ি বিধানসভা কেন্দ্র। তৃণমূলের তরফে অভিযোগ উঠেছে শিলিগুড়ি কলেজের গণনাকেন্দ্রে পোস্টাল ব্যালটে থাকা ছ’টি ট্রাঙ্কের মধ্যে পাঁচটি ট্রাঙ্ক নাকি আগে থেকেই খোলা রয়েছে। মহা শোরগোল শুরু হয়ে যায়। তৃণমূলের পক্ষ থেকে এই ঘটনায় নির্বাচন কমিশনের সরাসরি হস্তক্ষেপ দাবি করা হয়েছে। তাঁদের অভিযোগ, গণনায় জালিয়াতি করার উদ্দেশ্যেই ট্রাঙ্কগুলির সিল আগে থেকে ভাঙা হয়েছে। যার ফলে সাময়িকভাবে বন্ধ হল সেখানকার কাউন্টিং।

উৎকণ্ঠায় রয়েছেন প্রার্থীরা

শিলিগুড়িতে এই ঘটনায় পরিস্থিতি সামাল দিতে ইতিমধ্যেই গণনাকেন্দ্রে মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে অতিরিক্ত কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনী ও পুলিশ। জেলা নির্বাচনী আধিকারিকরা পরিস্থিতি খতিয়ে দেখছেন, তবে কমিশনের তরফে এখনও পর্যন্ত কোনো আনুষ্ঠানিক বিবৃতি দেওয়া হয়নি। শিলিগুড়ি, মাটিগাড়া-নকশালবাড়ি এবং ফাঁসিদেওয়া এই তিনটি কেন্দ্রের গণনা থমকে যাওয়ায় উৎকণ্ঠায় রয়েছেন প্রার্থী থেকে শুরু করে সাধারণ মানুষ। মাটিগাড়া-নকশালবাড়ির বিজেপি প্রার্থী আনন্দময় বর্মন জানান “ট্রাঙ্কে ২টি তালা লাগানোর কথা। ১টি তালা লাগানো ছিল বলে শুনেছি। সম্ভবত সেই কারণেই বাকি দুই আসনের পোস্টাল গণনা শুরু হয়নি।”

আজ সকাল থেকেই বহু বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রে এখনও পোস্টাল ব্যালটের গণনা নিয়ে একাধিক অভিযোগ উঠে আসছে। পোস্টাল ব্যালটের গণনা দেরি হওয়ায় ইঙ্গিত ইভিএম গণনা হতেও দেরী হচ্ছে একাধিক জায়গায়। যদিও নির্বাচন কমিশন জানিয়েছে, সব অভিযোগ লিখিতভাবে গ্রহণ করা হচ্ছে এবং কোথাও অনিয়মের প্রমাণ মিললে দ্রুত ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হচ্ছে। একই সঙ্গে গণনাকেন্দ্রগুলোতে অতিরিক্ত নিরাপত্তা ও নজরদারি জোরদার করা হয়েছে যাতে কোনো অপ্রীতিকর পরিস্থিতি তৈরি না হয়।
