এখন যাত্রীদের তরফে প্রশ্ন তোলা হচ্ছে, আচমকা পূর্ব রেলের তরফে হাওড়া-বর্ধমান মেমু ট্রেনের পথ পরিবর্তন কেন করা হল? এই নিয়ে রেলের তরফে একটি বিজ্ঞপ্তি জারি করা হয়েছে। সেই বিজ্ঞপ্তি অনুযায়ী, হাওড়া ডিভিশনের হাওড়া-ব্যান্ডেল শাখায় রিষড়া স্টেশন লিমিট লেভেল ক্রসিং গেট নং ০৩ (কিমি ১৬/১-৩)-তে সীমিত উচ্চতার সাবওয়ে নিররাণ সম্পর্কিত কাজের জন্য আজ বুধবার ২৫ মার্চ থেকে আগামী ২৯ মার্চ অবধি অবধি ডাউন, আপ এবং রিভার্সিবল লাইনে ৫ রাতের জন্য ট্রাফিক ও পাওয়ার ব্লকের দরকার হবে।

রেল জানিয়েছে, উল্লেখিত এই কাজের জন্য ট্রেন নম্বর ৬৩৫০১ আপ হাওড়া-বর্ধমান মেমু যাত্রা শুরুর তারিখ ২৫ মার্চ, ২০২৬ ও ২৬ মার্চ ২০২৬-এ পথ বদল করে হাওড়া-বর্ধমান কর্ড লাইন হয়ে চলবে। রেল আরও জানিয়েছে, স্পেশাল বা দেরিতে চলা ট্রেন এবং নতুন চালু হওয়া ট্রেন/পার্সেল ট্রেন/টিওডি যদি থাকে, ব্লক চলাকালীন পথিমধ্যে যথাযথভাবে নিয়ন্ত্রণ কিংবা পথ পরিবর্তন করা হবে। যাত্রীদের অসুবিধার জন্য রেলের তরফে ক্ষমা চাওয়া হয়েছে।
