নয়াদিল্লি–হাওড়া রুটে ১৮০ কিমি বেগে ছুটল ট্রেন, ইতিহাস গড়ল ভারতীয় রেল

সহেলি মিত্র, কলকাতাঃ এক নতুন ইতিহাস গড়ল ভারতীয় রেল (Indian Railways)। আজ বুধবার পণ্ডিত দীনদয়াল উপাধ্যায় জংশন থেকে প্রধানখুন্টা জংশনের মধ্যে ১৮০ কিমি/ঘণ্টা গতিতে স্পিড ট্রায়াল হল। এদিন সকল প্রতীক্ষার অবসান ঘটিয়ে পণ্ডিত দীনদয়াল উপাধ্যায় জংশন থেকে প্রধানখুন্টা জংশনের মধ্যে ১৮০ কিমি প্রতি ঘণ্টা গতিতে স্পিড ট্রায়াল হয়। এর সঙ্গে যোগ রয়েছে বাংলার হাওড়া (Howrah) ডিভিশনের। চলুন আরও বিশদে জেনে নেওয়া যাক।

নয়া ইতিহাস গড়ল রেল

রেল সুরে খবর, নয়াদিল্লি–হাওড়া সেমি হাই স্পিড (১৬০ কিমি/ঘণ্টা) আপগ্রেডেশন প্রকল্পের অংশ হিসেবে পূর্ব মধ্য রেল এদিন পণ্ডিত দীনদয়াল উপাধ্যায় জংশন–গয়া–ধানবাদ সেকশনে ১৮০ কিমি/ঘণ্টা গতির স্পিড ট্রায়াল পরিচালনা করেছে। এর আগে এই সম্পর্কিত একটি বিজ্ঞপ্তি জারি করে সকলকে সতর্ক করে রেল।

বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, ‘ট্রায়ালের সময়ে রেললাইনের কাছে থাকা বিপজ্জনক হবে। অতএব সকলকে সতর্ক করা হচ্ছে যে রেললাইনের কাছে না আসার এবং পশুপাখিকেও দূরে রাখা উচিৎ। একই সঙ্গে লেভেল ক্রসিং পার হওয়ার সময় বিশেষ সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করুন এবং ট্রেনের অবস্থান দেখে তবেই রেললাইন পার হন। এ বিষয়ে অবহেলা করলে কোনো দুর্ঘটনা ঘটলে তার জন্য রেল প্রশাসন দায়ী থাকবে না।’ যদিও শেষ অবধি যা খবর, নির্বিঘ্নেই রেলের এই ট্রায়াল রান সফল হয়েছে।

কী বলছে রেল?

এই পরীক্ষামূলক চলাচলটি এই অংশে দ্রুতগতির ট্রেন চলাচলের প্রস্তুতির একটি অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ। এই পরীক্ষামূলক চলাচলের সময় ট্র্যাক, সিগন্যালিং ব্যবস্থা, ওভারহেড সরঞ্জাম এবং অন্যান্য প্রযুক্তিগত দিকগুলো নিবিড়ভাবে পরীক্ষা করা হয়, যা ভবিষ্যতে এই রুটে দ্রুতগতির ট্রেনের নিরাপদ চলাচলের পথ আরও মসৃণ করবে। রেল কর্মকর্তাদের মতে, ডাউন লাইনে পরীক্ষার পর ট্রেনটি আপ লাইনে ডিডিইউ জংশনে ফিরে আসবে। এই দিনব্যাপী পরিদর্শন ও পরীক্ষামূলক যাত্রার সময় কঠোর নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে।
