হিন্দু পড়ুয়াকে কালিমা পড়ার হোমওয়ার্ক! বরখাস্ত স্কুলের মুসলিম শিক্ষিকা

অনন্যা সরকার, তেলেঙ্গানা: হিন্দু শিক্ষার্থীকে ধর্মীয় বিষয় ভিত্তিক বাড়ির কাজ (Home Work) দেওয়ার জন্য স্কুল থেকে বরখাস্ত হলেন ইসলাম ধর্মাবলম্বী শিক্ষিকা (School Teacher)। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে তেলেঙ্গানার সায়ীদাবাদের এক স্কুলে। অভিযোগ উঠেছে, দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণির এক শিক্ষার্থীকে যে হোমওয়ার্ক তিনি দিয়েছিলেন, তার মধ্যে ইসলামিক বিষয় ছিল। এই নিয়ে বিতর্ক সৃষ্টি হয়। ওই পড়ুয়ার অভিভাবকেরা স্কুলে এসে প্রতিবাদ জানান। 

শিক্ষিকাকে বহিষ্কৃত করলো স্কুল

বৃহস্পতিবার সায়ীদাবাদের ‘সাকসেস, দ্য স্কুল’ (Success, The School) শিক্ষিকা শেখ আয়েশা পারভীনকে বরখাস্তের চিঠি দিয়েছে। চিঠিতে বলা হয়েছে তিনি ভবিষ্যতে ‘সাকসেস গ্রুপ অফ এডুকেশন ইনস্টিটিউশনস’-এ চাকরির জন্য আবেদন করার ক্ষেত্রে স্থায়ীভাবে অযোগ্য বিবেচিত হবেন। দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণির ওই স্কুল পড়ুয়ার অভিভাবকদের অভিযোগের পর থেকেই বিতর্কের সূত্রপাত হয়। তারা অভিযোগ জানান, তাদের সন্তানকে স্কুলের পড়াশোনার অংশ হিসেবে কালিমা ও সূরা ফাতিহা পাঠ করতে বলা হয়েছে।

বিষয়টি জানার পর ক্ষুব্ধ অভিভাবকেরা স্কুলে গিয়ে কর্তৃপক্ষের বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার দাবি করেন এবং শিক্ষিকার এই নির্দেশ উপযুক্ত নয় বলে অভিযোগ জানান। এদিনই, বিজেপি মুখপাত্র শেহজাদ পুনাওয়ালা তার এক্স (X) হ্যান্ডেল থেকে পোস্ট করে জানান যে, তাঁর হস্তক্ষেপেই এই শিক্ষিকাকে স্কুল থেকে সরিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে।

তিনি তার এক্স পোস্টে দাবি করেন, বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে একটি হিন্দু শিশুকে হায়দ্রাবাদের এক স্কুল শিক্ষিকা ইসলামিক প্রার্থনা, কালিমা ইত্যাদি বলতে বাধ্য করার জোরপূর্বক কার্যকলাপ তিনি ফাঁস করে দেওয়ার পর, এখন স্কুল কর্তৃপক্ষ সেই শিক্ষিকাকে বরখাস্ত করেছে। তবে বরখাস্তের চিঠি প্রকাশ্যে আনা ছাড়া স্কুল কর্তৃপক্ষ এবিষয়ে মুখ খোলেনি।
