বদ্রিনাথ থেকে ফেরার পথে ভেঙে পড়ল যাত্রীবাহী হেলিকপ্টার, নিখোঁজ চালক সহ প্রত্যেকে

বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: উত্তরাখণ্ডের (Uttarakhand) বদ্রিনাথ থেকে ফেরার পথে দুর্ঘটনার কবলে পড়ল যাত্রীবাহী এক হেলিকপ্টার (Helicopter Accident)। জানা যাচ্ছে, শুক্রবার দুপুরে সহস্রধারা ফেরার পথে জোশীমঠের একেবারে কাছেই ভেঙে পড়ে ওই হেলিকপ্টারটি। দুর্ঘটনার সময় ওই কপ্টারটিতে চালক সহ মোট 6 জন ছিলেন। প্রাথমিকভাবে যা জানা যাচ্ছে, ভয়াবহ দুর্ঘটনায় মৃত্যু হয়েছে প্রত্যেকেরই! বর্তমানে তাঁদের খোঁজ চলছে। এখন প্রশ্ন, ঠিক কোন কারণে ঘটল এমন ভয়াবহ দুর্ঘটনা?

কেন ভেঙে পড়ল হেলিকপ্টার?

কয়েকটি রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, আজ দুপুরে বদ্রিনাথ থেকে ফিরে আসার সময় চায়ি গ্রামের কাছে আচমকা ভেঙে পড়ে হেলিকপ্টারটি। সংবাদ সংস্থা ANI সূত্রে খবর, ফিরে আসার সময় খারাপ আবহাওয়ার কারণে প্রতিকূল পরিস্থিতির মধ্যে পড়ে যায় কপ্টারটি। ঠিক সে কারণেই নিয়ন্ত্রণ রাখতে না পেরে শেষ পর্যন্ত যাত্রী সহ কপ্টারটিকে নিয়ে মাটিতে পড়ে যান চালক।

স্থানীয় জেলা প্রশাসনের তরফে জানানো হয়েছে, হেলিকপ্টারটি যখন ফিরছিল সেই সময় আবহাওয়া খুব একটা ভাল ছিল না। খুব সম্ভবত সে কারণেই হয়তো কপ্টারটি ভেঙে পড়ে। ইতিমধ্যেই এই দুর্ঘটনার খবর নিশ্চিত করেছেন উত্তরাখণ্ডের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী পুষ্কর সিং ধামীও। জোশীমঠের কাছে কপ্টারটির ভেঙে পড়ার খবর জানিয়েছেন তিনিও। তবে যান্ত্রিক গোলযোগের কারণে নাকি চালকের ভুলে হেলিকপ্টারটি ভেঙে পড়ল, তা খতিয়ে দেখা হচ্ছে।

প্রসঙ্গত, প্রাথমিকভাবে জানা গিয়েছে হেলিকপ্টারটি ট্রান্স ভারত অ্যাভিয়েশন সংস্থার। এদিন দুপুর 1 টা 15 নাগাদ বদ্রিনাথ থেকে কপ্টারটি ওড়ার পর কিছুদূর আসতেই 2টো নাগাদ সেটির সাথে নাকি যোগাযোগ সম্পূর্ণরূপে বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে যায়। সেই ঘটনার কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই চায়ি গ্রামের কাছ থেকে সাদা ধোঁয়া দেখতে পেয়ে উদ্ধারকারী দল অনুমান করে কপ্টারটি ভেঙে পড়েছে। পরবর্তীতে প্রশাসনের তৎপরতায় বিপর্যয় মোকাবিলা দল এবং এসডিআরএফ যৌথভাবে উদ্ধার কাজ শুরু করে।
