বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: দেশীয় প্রযুক্তিতে তৈরি ভারতের প্রথম বুলেট ট্রেন (India Bullet Train) নিয়ে নতুন ঘোষণা করলেন রেলমন্ত্রী অশ্বিনী বৈষ্ণব (Ashwini Vaishnaw)। মন্ত্রীর বক্তব্য অনুযায়ী, খুব শীঘ্রই বুলেট ট্রেন নিয়ে অপেক্ষা শেষ হচ্ছে দেশবাসীর। সব ঠিকঠাক থাকলে, আগামী 2027 সালের মে অথবা জুন মাসেই পরীক্ষামূলকভাবে ট্র্যাকে নেমে পড়বে বুলেট ট্রেন। রেলমন্ত্রী জানিয়েছেন, বুলেট ট্রেন পরিষেবা শুরু করার আগে দীর্ঘ অপেক্ষার পর ট্রেনের বডি ফ্রেম তৈরির কাজ ইতিমধ্যেই শেষ হয়ে গিয়েছে।

বুলেট ট্রেন নিয়ে বড় ঘোষণা রেলমন্ত্রীর

গুজরাতের ভদোদরায় নমো ফর বিকশিত ভারত অনুষ্ঠানে হাজির হয়েছিলেন রেলমন্ত্রী অশ্বিনী বৈষ্ণব। সেখানেই নানান বিষয়ে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে বুলেট ট্রেনের প্রসঙ্গ তোলেন মন্ত্রী নিজেই। এদিন ওই অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন দেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী খোদ নরেন্দ্র মোদিও। সেখানে 35 হাজার কোটি টাকা মূল্যের একাধিক প্রকল্পের শিলান্যাস করেন তিনি। আর সেই অনুষ্ঠানের মঞ্চ থেকেই দেশীয় প্রযুক্তিতে তৈরি প্রথম বুলেট ট্রেন নিয়ে মুখ খুললেন রেলমন্ত্রী।

মন্ত্রী বললেন, “বুলেট ট্রেনের বডি ফ্রেম তৈরির কাজ শেষ হওয়ার পর সেগুলিকে স্কুইজ টেস্ট করতে পাঠিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। সব ঠিকঠাক থাকলে আগামী বছরের মে মাস থেকে জুন মাসের মধ্যে পাকাপাকিভাবে রেলের ট্র্যাকে পরীক্ষামূলক ভাবে নেমে পড়বে বুলেট ট্রেন। এই পরীক্ষার চার মাস পর প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদির হাত ধরে উদ্বোধন হবে সেই বিশেষ ট্রেনের।” বলাই বাহুল্য, এই পরিষেবা শুরু হলে ভদোদরা থেকে মুম্বই পৌঁছানো যাবে মাত্র দেড় ঘন্টায়।

রেলমন্ত্রীর বক্তব্য অনুযায়ী, বুলেট ট্রেনের পাশাপাশি পরিষেবা শুরু করার আগে পরিকাঠামো নিয়ে যাবতীয় কাজ চালাচ্ছে ভারতীয় রেল। আগামী বছরের মাঝামাঝি সময়ের মধ্যে সেই কাজও শেষ হয়ে যাবে। তারপরই সমস্ত দিক খতিয়ে রেখে তবেই উদ্বোধন করা হবে বুলেট ট্রেনের। সেটা হয়ে গেলেই বাণিজ্যিকভাবে শুরু হবে যাত্রী পরিষেবা। বলে রাখা প্রয়োজন, এর আগে বুলেট ট্রেন পরিষেবা চালু করার সম্ভাব্য তারিখ প্রকাশ্যে এলেও নির্ধারিত সময়ের মধ্যে কাজ শেষ করা যায়নি। ফলে পিছিয়েছে বুলেট ট্রেন পরিষেবা শুরুর তারিখ।
