“নরেন্দ্র নামাটাকে ঘৃণা করি!” পাকিস্তানি বক্সার কথা প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে জানালেন ভারতীয় তারকা

বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: দেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রীর নাম নরেন্দ্র মোদি (Narendra Modi)। এবারের কমনওয়েলথ গেমসে পদকজয়ী ভারতীয় বক্সারের (Indian Boxer) নামও নরেন্দর বেরওয়াল। আর এই নরেন্দ্র নামেই আপত্তি পাকিস্তানের! রুপোর পদকজয়ী এই ভারতীয় বক্সার সম্প্রতি প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সাথে আলাপচারিতা চলাকালীন পাকিস্তানি প্রতিপক্ষকে নিয়ে মুখ খুলেছিলেন। ভারতীয় বক্সার বলেন, ওই পাকিস্তানি বক্সার নাকি তাঁকে জানিয়েছিলেন, তিনি নরেন্দ্র নামটিকে ঘৃণা করতে শুরু করেছেন! সে কথা শুনে অবশ্য হেসে উড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদি। যেই দৃশ্য বর্তমানে ভাইরাল সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায়।

প্রধানমন্ত্রীর নামটিকে ঘৃণা করেন পাকিস্তানি বক্সার!

সদ্য 2026 কমনওয়েলথ গেমসে একের পর এক পদক জিতে স্কটল্যান্ড থেকে দেশে ফিরেছেন ভারতীয় প্রতিভারা। সম্প্রতি তাঁদের সাথে দেখা করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি। সেখানেই একে একে প্রত্যেক ভারতীয় খেলোয়াড়ের সাথে কথা বলতে দেখা গিয়েছিল প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে। আর সেই আলাপচারিতা চলাকালীন রুপোর পদকজয়ী ভারতীয় বক্সার নরেন্দর বেরওয়াল প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে দেখে একটি মজার ঘটনা ভাগ করে নেন।

ANI এর সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া প্ল্যাটফর্ম থেকে ভাইরাল হওয়া একটি ভিডিওতে দেখা গিয়েছে, ভারতীয় বক্সারের সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রী। তাঁকে দেখতে পেয়ে উঠে দাঁড়িয়ে ওই বক্সার বলছেন, “পাকিস্তানের কথা চলছে আমার একটা পুরনো ঘটনা মনে পড়ে গেল স্যার। 2015 সালে ওয়ার্ল্ড মিলিট্রি গেম, আমার ম্যাচ ছিল পাকিস্তানি প্রতিপক্ষের সাথে। যেহেতু ওয়ার্ল্ড মিলিট্রি গেম ছিল ভারতীয় মিলিটারিদের তরফে আমার কাছে ফোন এসেছিল পাকিস্তানের কাছে হারা যাবে না।”

 

পুরনো কথা ভাগ করে নিতে নিতেই ভারতীয় বক্সার বললেন, “আমি পরপর দুটি রাউন্ডেই জিতেছিলাম। 2014 সালে আপনি ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী হয়েছিলেন। এদিকে আমাদের সাথে যেই কোচ গেছিলেন তাঁর নাম ছিল নরেন্দর রানা। আমাকে তখন ওই পাকিস্তানি বক্সার বলেছিল, ভাইজান একটা কথা বলব। আমি বলেছিলাম বলো। আপনার নাম নরেন্দর, আপনার কোচের নাম নরেন্দর, আপনার দেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রীর নাম নরেন্দর, আমার না নরেন্দর নামটার প্রতি ঘৃণা তৈরি হয়ে গিয়েছে।”

এদিন ভারতীয় বক্সার পুরনো স্মৃতি ভাগ করে নেওয়ার সময় প্রধানমন্ত্রীর নামে পাকিস্তানি বক্সারের ঘৃণার বিষয়টি উপস্থাপন করতেই কথাটি একেবারে হেসে উড়িয়ে দিয়েছিলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। এর থেকে বোঝা যায়, পাকিস্তানিদের কথা খুব একটা আমলে নিতে রাজি নন দেশের তিন বারের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি।
