প্রীতি পোদ্দার, কলকাতা: বৃহস্পতিবার, প্রথম দফার ভোট (West Bengal Election 2026) চলাকালীন রাজ্যের বেশ কয়েকটি বুথ কেন্দ্রে নানা ঝামেলা অশান্তির ছবি ফুটে উঠেছিল। বুথ দখল থেকে EVM বিকল একাধিক অভিযোগ আনা হয়েছিল। দাবি করা হয়েছিল ভোটের সময় প্রভাবিত বুথগুলিতে পুনর্নির্বাচন নিশ্চিত করতে হবে কমিশনকে। তাই এবার সমস্ত তথ্য পর্যবেক্ষণ করে বড় সিদ্ধান্ত নিল নির্বাচন কমিশন (Election Commission Of India)। স্পষ্ট জানিয়ে দেওয়া হল পুনর্নির্বাচন (Repoll) হবে না বাংলার (West Bengal) প্রথম দফার একটি বুথেও।

পুনর্নির্বাচন নিয়ে বড় সিদ্ধান্ত

গত বৃহস্পতিবার রাজ্যের ১৬টি জেলায় ১৫২টি আসনে ভোটগ্রহণ হয়েছিল। সর্বমোট ৪৪ হাজার ৩৭৬টি বুথে ভোটগ্রহণ হয়েছিল। রেকর্ড ভোটদানের মাঝেই নানা অশান্তিও খবরের শিরোনামে উঠে এসেছিল। তাইতো বাংলায় প্রথম দফার ভোটগ্রহণ নিয়ে ২৪ ঘণ্টা পরও পুনর্নির্বাচন নিয়ে আলোচনা জারি ছিল। তবে গতকাল, শুক্রবার কমিশন স্পষ্ট জানিয়ে দিয়েছে যে সেখানে পুনর্নির্বাচনের প্রয়োজন নেই। একইভাবে বৃহস্পতিবার, তামিলনাড়ুতে (Tamil Nadu) ভোটগ্রহণ চলছিল, সেখানে মোট ৭৫,০৬৪ বুথে ভোটগ্রহণ হয়েছে। কমিশন জানিয়েছে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের প্রথম দফার মত তামিলনাড়ুর কোনও বুথেও পুনর্নির্বাচন হচ্ছে না।

গণ্ডগোল দেখা গিয়েছিল বুথে বুথে

বৃহস্পতিবার, প্রথম দফার ভোট চলাকালীন মুর্শিদাবাদের ভরতপুর ও বহরমপুর এই দু’টি বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রে ব্যাপক অনিয়মের অভিযোগ তুলে সরব হয়েছিল কংগ্রেস। অভিযোগ করা হয়েছিল শাসকদল জোর জবরদস্তি করছে ভোটদানকে ঘিরে। বীরভূমেও আক্রান্ত হয়েছিলেন লাভপুরের বিজেপি প্রার্থী। শুধু তাই নয়, মুর্শিদাবাদের নওদাতেও উত্তেজনা ছড়িয়ে পড়েছিল। কিন্তু এবার ছাপ্পা ভোট, বুথ দখলের অভিযোগের কথা শোনা যায়নি। ভোটদান যে নির্বিঘ্নে হয়েছে, সেকথা স্পষ্ট করে দিয়ে কমিশন জানিয়ে দিয়েছে, প্রথম দফার ভোটে কোনও বুথে পুনর্নির্বাচন (Repoll) হচ্ছে না।

কমিশনের দেওয়া রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, রাজ‍্যে প্রথম দফায় ভোটদানের হার সবচেয়ে বেশি রয়েছে কোচবিহারে সেখানে ৯৬.০৪ শতাংশ ভোট পড়েছে। এ ছাড়া ৯৪ শতাংশের বেশি ভোট পড়েছে জলপাইগুড়ি, মালদহ, বীরভূম এবং উত্তর দিনাজপুরে। বাকি জেলাগুলিতেও ভোটের হার ৯০-এর গণ্ডি পেরিয়ে গিয়েছে। আগামী ২৯ এপ্রিল রাজ্যে দ্বিতীয় দফার নির্বাচন হতে চলেছে। ১৪২টি আসনে ভোটগ্রহণ করা হবে। এখন দেখার সেই ভোটের হার কত শতাংশ ওঠে।
