তবে শুধু ধোনি নন, ভারতীয় দলের প্রাক্তন তারকা ক্রিকেটার সুনীল গাভাস্কার থেকে শুরু করে সচিন তেন্ডুলকর, রাহুল দ্রাবিড় সহ অন্যান্য নামজাদা ক্রিকেটাররা এবার থেকে প্রতিমাসে 70,000 টাকা করে পেনশন পাবেন। বলে রাখি, প্রাক্তন অলরাউন্ডার যুবরাজ সিং এই মুহূর্তে ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের কাছ থেকে মাসিক পেনশন বাবদ 60,000 হাজার টাকা পেয়ে থাকেন। জানা গিয়েছে, প্রাক্তন ক্রিকেটার অসুস্থ বিনোদ কাম্বলিও প্রতিমাসে বোর্ডের কাছ থেকে 30,000 টাকার আর্থিক সাহায্য পান।
