বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী কলকাতা: চরম বিদ্যুৎ সংকটে ভুগছে বাংলাদেশ (Bangladesh Loadshedding)! কাছের প্রতিবেশী দেশে ঘনঘন হচ্ছে লোডশেডিং। এর নেপথ্যে অবশ্য রয়েছে একাধিক কারণ। বাংলাদেশের বিশেষজ্ঞ মহল বলছেন, সে দেশে তীব্র গ্যাস সংকট, কয়লা এবং তরল জ্বালানি সরবরাহ কমে যাওয়া ও বড় বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রগুলিতে কারিগরি বা যান্ত্রিক ত্রুটির কারণে ওপার বাংলায় নেমে এসেছে বিদ্যুৎ বিপর্যয় (Electricity Crisis)। মূলত, বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদন উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে কমে যাওয়ায় গোটা বাংলাদেশজুড়ে দেখা দিচ্ছে লোডশেডিং। তাতে মাথার ঘাম ঝরিয়ে বাড়ি ফিরে নাকাল হতে হচ্ছে ওপারের বাসিন্দাদের।

লোডশেডিং-এ ভুগছে বাংলাদেশ

গোটা বাংলাদেশের চাহিদার তুলনায় বিদ্যুতের উৎপাদন উল্লেখযোগ্য ভাবে কমে যাওয়ায় সে দেশে বারবার দেখা দিচ্ছে লোডশেডিং (Bangladesh News)। বাংলাদেশ বিদ্যুৎ বোর্ড ও পাওয়ার গ্রিড বাংলাদেশ পিএলসির রিপোর্ট বলছে, বাংলাদেশ জুড়ে 137টি বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদন কেন্দ্রের মধ্যে অন্তত 62টি কেন্দ্রে বিদ্যুতের উৎপাদন মারাত্মকভাবে ব্যাহত হয়েছে। সবচেয়ে উল্লেখযোগ্য বিষয়, এই বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রগুলির মধ্যে 20টি কেন্দ্রে বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদন সম্পূর্ণরূপে বন্ধ হয়ে গিয়েছে। বাকি 42টি কেন্দ্রে বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদনের পরিমাণ মারাত্মকভাবে কমেছে। যার ফলে দিনের বেলায় ব্যাপক লোডশেডিং এর শিকার হচ্ছেন ওপার বাংলার মানুষজন।

বাংলাদেশ বিদ্যুৎ বোর্ড বলছে, দেশটিতে বিদ্যুতের চাহিদা দিন দিন বাড়লেও বাংলাদেশের মোট বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদন ক্ষমতার থেকে অনেক কম বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদিত হচ্ছে। বাংলাদেশের সংবাদমাধ্যম দৈনিক ইত্তেফাকের প্রতিবেদন অনুযায়ী, এই মুহূর্তে বাংলাদেশের মোট বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদন ক্ষমতা 29 মেগাওয়াট। এদিকে পদ্মা পাড়ের দেশে বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদন হচ্ছে 13,282 মেগাওয়াট। যেখানে চাহিদা 16 হাজার মেগাওয়াটেরও বেশি।

বাংলাদেশের একটা বড় অংশের বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রে দিনের পর দিন বিদ্যুতের উৎপাদন কমে যাওয়ার কারণে ওপার বাংলার গ্রামাঞ্চল বিশেষ করে পল্লী অঞ্চলে দিনরাত লোডশেডিং দেখা দিচ্ছে। লোডশেডিং এর শিকার হচ্ছেন ঢাকার বাসিন্দারাও। এমতাবস্থায়, দেশে বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদন ক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি এবং বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদন কেন্দ্র গুলির দিকে বিশেষ নজর দেওয়ার জন্য সরকারের কাছে আহ্বান জানাচ্ছেন আমজনতা। সূত্রের খবর, তারেক রহমান সরকারের তরফেও বাংলাদেশের লোডশেডিং সমস্যা সমাধানের আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা চলছে। তবে শেষ পর্যন্ত তা কতটা বাস্তবায়িত হয় এখন সেটাই দেখার।
