বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: ইন্ডিয়ান প্রিমিয়ার লিগ (Indian Premier League) শুরু হতে এখনও ঢের দেরি। তার আগেই এবার বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে বড় টি-টোয়েন্টি লিগে ইমপ্যাক্ট প্লেয়ার সহ বেশ কিছু নিয়ম নিয়ে (IPL Rule Change) প্রত্যেক অংশগ্রহণকারী দলের কাছে মতামত চাইল ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট বোর্ড। ক্রিকবাজের রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, আজ অর্থাৎ সোমবারের মধ্যে প্রত্যেকটি দলকে ইন্ডিয়ান প্রিমিয়ার লিগের ইমপ্যাক্ট প্লেয়ারের নিয়ম নিয়ে তাদের মূল্যবান মতামত জানাতে বলা হয়েছে। এখন দেখার শেষ পর্যন্ত দলগুলি বোর্ডকে কী পরামর্শ দেয়!

IPL এ বদলাতে পারে বড় নিয়ম

গত ইন্ডিয়ান প্রিমিয়ার লিগে ইমপ্যাক্ট প্লেয়ার নিয়ে গঙ্গা দিয়ে জল গড়িয়েছে অনেক। বহু প্রাক্তন ক্রিকেটারের মতে, এই নিয়মের কারণে চ্যালেঞ্জের সম্মুখীন হতে হয় বোলারদের। কারও দাবি, ইমপ্যাক্ট প্লেয়ার সংক্রান্ত নিয়ম থাকায় বেশিরভাগ ম্যাচে বড় স্কোর হয়। এছাড়াও এই বিশেষ নিয়ম নিয়ে রয়েছে একাধিক বিতর্ক। আর ঠিক সে কারণেই এবার সমস্ত দিক খতিয়ে দেখতে এই পুরনো নিয়ম নিয়ে প্রত্যেকটি দলের মতামত বা ভাবনা জানতে চাইলে বোর্ড।

তবে শুধু ইমপ্যাক্ট প্লেয়ার সংক্রান্ত নিয়ম নিয়ে নয় বরং PMOA, আম্পায়ার, প্র্যাক্টিস থেকে শুরু করে সমস্ত প্লেয়ার কন্ডিশন নিয়ে প্রত্যেকটি দলের কাছে মতামত জানতে চাওয়া হয়েছে। তবে এসবের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বেশি আলোচনায় রয়েছে ইমপ্যাক্ট প্লেয়ার সংক্রান্ত নিয়মটি। প্রশ্ন উঠছে, সমস্ত দলের কাছে মতামত নিয়ে শেষ পর্যন্ত কি এই বিশেষ নিয়ম তুলে দেওয়া হবে? এ প্রসঙ্গে অবশ্য বোর্ডের তরফে এখনও পর্যন্ত কিছু জানানো হয়নি।

বলা বাহুল্য, ইমপ্যাক্ট প্লেয়ার সংক্রান্ত নিয়ম নিয়ে এর আগে হার্দিক পান্ডিয়া, রোহিত শর্মার মতো প্লেয়ারের কাছ থেকে মতামত নেওয়া হয়েছে। তাছাড়াও চলতি বছর ইন্ডিয়ান প্রিমিয়ার লিগ শুরুর আগে সমস্ত দলকে জানানো হয়েছিল টুর্নামেন্ট শেষ হয়ে গেলে IPL পরিচালনা সংক্রান্ত বেশ কিছু নিয়ম নিয়ে প্রত্যেকটি দলের কাছে পরামর্শ চাওয়া হবে। সেই মতোই, ইমেলে 10 দলকে উল্লিখিত নিয়মগুলি নিয়ে মতামত জানাতে বলা হল 31 আগস্টের মধ্যে।
