বিক্রম ব্যানার্জী, কলকাতা: স্থলপথের পাশাপাশি জলপথেও পাকিস্তান, চিনের মতো শত্রুপক্ষের মোকাবিলায় সদা প্রস্তুত ভারত (India)। সেই মর্মে, দিন দিন আধুনিকীকরণ হচ্ছে ভারতীয় নৌসেনায়। নৌবাহিনীর ভাঁড়ারে আসছে নতুন নতুন উচ্চ ক্ষমতা সম্পন্ন যুদ্ধ জাহাজ। এবার ভারতীয় নৌবাহিনীকে আরও শক্তিশালী করে তুলতে বড় পদক্ষেপ নিল নরেন্দ্র মোদি সরকার। ভারতের জলসেনার শক্তি কয়েকগুণ বাড়িয়ে দিয়ে শত্রুদের নাস্তানাবুদ করতে এবার জার্মানির সাথে বড় চুক্তির পথে ভারত (India-Germany Deal)। জানা যাচ্ছে, আগামী মাসেই ভারতীয় নৌবাহিনীর জন্য ডুবোজাহাজ নির্মাণের 90 হাজার কোটির একটি বিরাট চুক্তি সম্পন্ন হতে চলেছে।

90 হাজার কোটির চুক্তি অনুযায়ী কী কী পাবে নৌসেনা?

ভারতে নিযুক্ত জার্মান রাষ্ট্রদূত ফিলিপ অ্যাকারম্যান বৃহস্পতিবার, ইকোনমিক টাইমসকে দেওয়া একটি সাক্ষাৎকারে জানিয়েছেন, আগামী মাসেই ভারত এবং জার্মানির মধ্যে 90 হাজার কোটি টাকার একটি চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরিত হতে পারে। আর সেই চুক্তি অনুযায়ী যৌথ উদ্যোগে ভারতীয় নৌ সেনার জন্য কাজ করবে দুই দেশ। আসলে এই চুক্তি মেনে মেক ইন ইন্ডিয়া প্রকল্পের আওতায় কৌশলগত অংশীদারিত্বের ভিত্তিতে নৌবাহিনীর জন্য 6টি ডুবোজাহাজ বানাবে জার্মান সংস্থা থাইসেনকর্প মেরিন সিস্টেমস।

প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রকের সূত্র মারফত পাওয়া তথ্য অনুযায়ী, জার্মান সংস্থা ভারতীয় নৌবাহিনী জন্য যে 6টি ডুবোজাহাজ তৈরি করবে, তা হবে এয়ার ইন্ডিপেনডেন্ট প্রপালশন সিস্টেমে। এই ডুবোজাহাজ বা সাবমেরিনের ভেতরে অর্থাৎ ভেতরের সাজ সজ্জায় থাকছে 533 এমএম টর্পেডো টিউব সহ ব্রহ্মোস ক্ষেপণাস্ত্র এবং এসএম 29 এক্সোসে জাহাজ ধ্বংসকারী মিসাইল।

বলে রাখা প্রয়োজন, জার্মানির সাথে যৌথ উদ্যোগে যে 6টি সাবমেরিন তৈরি হবে সেগুলি অন্যান্য সাবমিনের তুলনায় অনেক বেশি শক্তিশালী হতে চলেছে। একই সাথে বাকি সাবমেরিনের তুলনায় বেশিক্ষণ জলের নিচে থাকতে পারবে এগুলি। এছাড়াও মুম্বইয়ের মাঝগাঁও ডক শিপবিল্ডার্স লিমিটেড এ তৈরি হবে ডিজেল-ইলেকট্রিক সাবমেরিনগুলি। না বললেই নয়, 2018 সালেই কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার 6টি ডুবোজাহাজ তৈরির বিষয়টি অ্যাকসেপ্ট্যান্স অফ নেসেসিটিতে তালিকাভুক্ত করেছিল প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রক। সেই সময় এই কর্মকাণ্ডের জন্য খরচ ধরা হয়েছিল 43 হাজার কোটি টাকা। তবে সময়ের সাথে সাথে আজ সেই খরচটা এক ধাক্কায় অনেকটাই বেড়েছে!
